if this was a Nintendo game ..it would still be selling for $100
It'd be on sale for $100 and probably retail for $119.
So I guess your username checks out :)
Red Dead Redemption 1 on Switch is still $69
nintendo is the greediest game company in the world that milk their fans to rebuy the essentially the game again and again with each new console
they are also setting a new high price precedent for games prices
their prices of the own games also hardly ever drop even after so many years.also now selling games without any game in it except for the game code..
so you can resell the game
and also you don't even have the game on the gamecart means you are reliant on nintendo server (not shutting down in the future) if you want to redownload that game again.they are also setting a new high price precedent for games prices
Didn't work for Sony when they tried the same thing with PS3 games…

This was not the case until the Nintendo switch came about.
They’ve trained you/ us to treat their games with that “value perception” - and you/ us allowed it.
Only you/ us can teach Nintendo the reverse, and certainly - you/ us will see their games follow suit with dropped prices.
I really, really dislike the argument about Nintendo setting “high prices.” I’m not excusing other practices like codes in boxes or re-releasing the same game a dozen times, but some of y’all are living under a rock and need to be educated.
Super Mario 64 was $99.95 AUD RRP in 1996. That’s not a made-up number. It’s what you’d actually pay at retail. Adjust that for inflation, and you’re looking at around $200 in 2025 dollars. Super Mario Odyssey, by comparison, launched at around $89 RRP in 2017 and is still that much today. So not only did Nintendo not raise their prices, they’ve been keeping them significantly below the inflation-adjusted price of older titles.
So here’s your gentle reminder.. they could absolutely charge you $200 for a new first-party game in 2025, and it would still track logically with historical pricing. But they don’t. Because game developers know gamers (aka you, the consumer) are wired with anchored price expectations. We’ve been conditioned to think games “should” be $89 AUD, no matter how much more expensive games are to make today. That expectation becomes a ceiling, even when the actual cost to develop games has gone through the roof.
Even if Nintendo raised prices in line with inflation, the only leg many gamers would stand on is perceived value, which is subjective and all over the place. They didn’t train us. We trained ourselves. They’re merely reinforcing it. And let’s be real, they still wouldn’t win. Because gamers be gaming. This is simple behavioural economics. And you are right, it’s up to the gamers to take the lead, but it’s difficult for gamers to band together simply due to the fact that gamers are, by majority, socially inept, and can’t agree on one thing.
would you pay 100k for a phone? me neither
Rrp is $20
The "ultimate edition" is on sale on PS Store for $30
Is Ulimate worth the extra $10. I've been indecisive about getting it over the disc.

Expect to pay $20 for a ps5 patch later this year.
$39 in total will be cheaper than the $80-$90 they'll charge for the ps5 disc
Rumours of a next gen update coming soon
Can I assume this price + upgrade price would be cheaper than a PS5 remaster base price?
edit: nevermind the comment above has the answer.
Rdr3
It will be monumental when it releases in 2030
It will be monumental when it releases in 2030
Can't wait to see how horses balls will be even more realistic
Do you need to have played RDR1 to follow the story of RDR2?
No. But you’ll probably be interested in playing it if you get through this…
50% through maybe one day I will finish this game lol
