I never got the trend around Frank Green. It's not like their style / design is anything special. For brands that make an effort on design I can understand a higher price, but those are just plain colours.
On that note, I was looking to replace my reusable coffee cup, which was stolen with my backpack a few weeks back, and I found out that Yeti have a customisation tool on their website. You can either enter keywords, and it will generate designs for you, or upload your own design to be printed on your cup or bottle. They also have ready designs for people to consider. I haven't yet decided what to put on mine, but I thought that was a really cool tool for those who want their own unique bottle / cup: https://au.yeti.com/collections/customisation-by-product
I got one for free and I have no nice things to say about it.
Frank Green or Yeti?
@Sebajun: Frank Green. I had one of the first iterations of the keep/coffee cup and it constantly leaked and the drinking spout/hole was position way to far to drink from and weird because it was perfectly flat and hard to create a seal so you couldn't take a proper sip from. It was hard to clean properly due to the mechanism inside and the plastic was flimsy and wasn't nice to hold.
@POSITIVEVIBESONLY: My girlfriend also got one for free a while ago and your description matches. Definitely not convenient to clean inside the lid, and unless you give it a good shake, water accumulates / stays inside it.
The target audience is 10-14 year olds, and parents from affluent suburbs who “watch” Brayden/Kayden/Bryce play soccer
Let me guess, everything is $35-$39?
Dont be silly Im sure they will be selling bottle cleaning brushes for $20-$25
The fad is fading
No Sneaky Link then?!
Ill never understand this fad
So at $40 it is still at least $30 overpriced.
$40+ is steep for a cup
[VIC] Nothing worth $40 @ Frank Green, Dandenong South. Title fixed
A friend was there this morning and said the line is over an hour long, and parking is (and I quote) “f##ked”
Looks like the craze for these overpriced drink bottles is approaching the end…
