Vehicle Stolen and Insurance Claim Files - Do I Need to Notify Insurance Provider of My Second Vehicle?

I have (had) two vehicles with two different insurance providers.

I've just submitted a claim for the theft of the first vehicle with insurance provider one, do I need to notify insurance provider two that covers the second vehicle that I've made a claim for vehicle one?

    What does your PDS say?

Thank you. I'm with AAMI. Looking at the PDS it states under "When you need to contact us":

"any details on your certificate of insurance are no longer accurate and complete,
including but not limited to your car (see ‘When you replace your car’ on page 12)
or the address where you keep your car changes;"

      My certificate of insurance states:

"You or anyone to be insured under this policy have had
NO insurance claims for loss or damage relating to car
insurance (excluding any claims made on this policy)."

The vehicle that was stolen was a motorcycle, rather than a car, so… I guess based on the letter of the law, I don't need to contact them, but based on 'Mabo' (the vibe) I should contact them?

You want to donate your motorcycle to either Eddie Mabo or Native Title Act?

    Does it come with insurance?
    Is it registered?
    Any warranties?

    Short answer: No
    Long answer: No

What did AAMI say when you asked them?

If notifying them isn't required, I'd rather not raise my premiums.

Just don't give them your details when you call. Use a different phone number.

      • Just say you are asking for a friend

Not until the policy renews then it will be part of your duty of disclosure.

      This
And even that if you’re bothered
