Any Experience with Temple and Webster's Outdoor Furniture

Hi Guys,
Do you have any experience with Temple and Webster's Outdoor Furniture?
Specifically, I am after something like this:
https://www.templeandwebster.com.au/5-Seater-Kat-Outdoor-Mod…?
https://www.templeandwebster.com.au/5-Seater-Kat-Outdoor-Mod…?
Appreciate any feedback, tips or even any voucher/code which can be used if I proceed with order.
Thanks in advance.

  • 2 relo's bought stuff, 1 came damaged they sent another and she sold first cheap, 2nd had some faults and needed extra fittings to work, was refunded and just kept it.

    • ahh, any idea which units were those?

      • A small breakfast bar and stools, I put them together was dodgy, and a kitchen bench/cabinet/stools, top corners was chipped, that was more a freight issue.

It is a gamble. Shit quality but you might get lucky and get something that looks ok.

They have a good selection of furniture which is a plus. But yeah, the quality is not there.

I personally wouldn't buy outdoor furniture without sitting on it and testing it first.
We were recently looking at updating ours, and there are some really nice looking, but really firm and uncomfortable lounges for sale.
Handing over north of $1k sight unseen is a big risk, especially as it would be hard to return due to being uncomfortable.

  • Haven't tried this brand, but have one in a similar style that someone gave away for free. You would want to get the darker covers, as they can get marks on them quite easily. Then again, the dark ones will fade from the sun. I wouldn't expect these to be extremely high quality or extremely comfortable given the price.

Good outdoor sofa sets unfortunately seem to be a luxury item aimed at wealthier people, and you could pay $2k-$3k to get a basic one that is also comfortable and durable, >$5k for one that looks really nice, and $10k-$50k for a designer one.

It's also unfortunate that IKEA doesn't specialize in this area, as most if not all IKEA outdoor sofas are crap. Narrow, uncomfortable, ugly, flimsy.

Not sure where i'm going to get a decent affordable one when my current one dies (very soon).

    • Not sure of the quality but Bunnings does sell outdoor furniture covers. The trouble might be sweating under the covers. Just a thought.

  • Actually, we are now considering this to buy:

    .
But currently not much discount on it.
Any code or way we can get this at little better price?

  • i've purchased some bedroom furniture from T&W and never again. Ended up in hard rubbish within a year. Def would not spend $2K in the place. do you have BBQ galore around? at least you can sit and test those and see the quality. big gamble from T&W
