Yep price was updated at 10:37:

      • I was about to buy, but don't want to support the price jacking :-(

        • +1

Price was updated again, now $358 with voucher

          • @jj8aus: Yeah, now it went slightly cheaper.
I think maybe they were not actively price jacking, they are just fiddling around with the listing.

            • +2

@oz-dave: Wasn’t it because they saw your comment that they dropped the price to make you feel compelled to buy one?

              • +1

                @jimojr: Haha, maybe ;-)

                And maybe it worked…

  • Voucher has disappeared for me

    • Scratch that, it came back

  • I have a Mini 2 SE which I have learnt to fly. I don't use it much but is enjoying it a bit more. I would like the follow me condition which it lacks.

Should I get this Neo to supplement the 2 SE, or sell the 2 SE and get the Mini 4 Pro at their runout price?

    • If you prioritise follow, get the neo, if you priritise image quality get the mini 4 pro.

      • I thought the Mini 4 Pro also have follow?

        • +1

It does but you need the remote. Neo can do it without the remote.

      • Neo image is pretty good.

  • Reports of a new one coming out soon, but very tempted for this price. Cheapest I think I've ever seen it!

  • Damn I am struggling not to buy this, honestly the only use case I can think is that it's in under 250g cat so can fly in a lot of places where you can't fly say avata2.

Also, the follow function seems really cool, but again, do I really need it?

Damn you OP take my upvote anyway.

    • Where do you use this? In sydney anyway you can't use them near people and there are lots of people around, you can't fly out of visual range which is an issue with something so small

so I can't really think of where we would play with this other than inside our house which probably isn't so interesting

  • Bought this a month or so ago. Perfect drone for beginners and pretty good videos. I had mavic pro few years ago. Bit better with especially wind. This does ok.
It followed us on the scooter doing 25km/h from kids school home. The batteries gets charged in battery bank (fits 3, come with this pack) using 1 USB c. Or in neo. I use battery bank and take with me to top up. Also good to fly inside. Kids don't get their fingers chopped.

    • so no haircut function ☹️ I'm trying to make a buy case to the Minister of Finance.

So is it good for say roof/gutters inspections? How noisy is it?

      • Quite noisy compared to other DJI. For roof inspections should be fine. If it bumps something not much happening. Doesnt have obstacle avoidance like some of them do. But follow me mode is quite good. Tried around trees and so on and no issues. "Tripod" mode is quite cool. Start it pointing to your kid or whatever. It follows object from where you started. Almost like a tripod but follow object. They have a mode it goes Infront of you. Spun me out because when finished you go towards the drone and it goes further away. Lol. Need to hold out your palm to it and it lands. Good for doing a story or whatever. Haven't tried voice recording on app but apparently it is good using your phone or DJI mic. It takes away the sound of drone.

      • Noisy but bearable.. From the reviews online, it sounded bad like dentist cleaning but it's not screaming bad. Get it.

        • Yep, not too bad but have had DJI previous this is a bit louder. Guess because so small rotors they need to spin faster. Not annoyingly loud but it is louder. Def worth this price.

  • Suitable for indoor flight?
