Looks to be targeted, but tried the old link from previous post (credit to Dingoblue), accepted offer and it worked. My eBay plus had lapsed but I have renewed for $19.

    Edit: It is $49 per year. I just went to cancel mine and was offered a $30 coupon if I stay beyond my renewel date in August.

    Works out the same as the $30 coupon they offer when you go to cancel. I didn't renew mine in hopes of getting a better offer but nothing has come through yet (3 months)

        that's not correct. It's $30 off $50 spend, not $150. Better with $30 off $30 spend but nevertheless, not $150 spend.

        Other problem however, is that it is only valid for 30 days after issue at the beginning of July!!! Maybe I won't bother at the renewal next year.

    If you wait a few months they'll drop it to $9.99 for the year.

    Mine expired at the start of this year and within the first 2 months I had the banner offering $20/yr. Left it for another 2 or so months and it dropped to $10. Tbh, I struggle to even see the value at $10…

    Not gonna bother with eBay anymore unless I absolutely have to. Not just their offerings but their customer service has also gone downhill.

    Bought something using a voucher last month, turned out to be faulty, so I returned it. But the voucher wasn’t refunded. Asked if they could just send me a replacement instead, but the seller ghosted me completely. Hit up customer service and the guy honestly couldn’t care less. Had to push really hard before they finally gave me a new voucher with 30 days expiry.

    Tried to use it a few days later, yep, expired. Back to CS the rep couldn’t even find the previous chat history, even though it was right there in the same chat window. Took ages, then finally they admit it was a tech issue and say they’ll escalate it to some “special team” who’ll get back to me in 24–48 hours.

    Also asked for a manager to call me back—radio silence. 2 weeks now still nothing. No voucher, no call, nothing.

    Just cancelled my subscription and ignored the $30 retention offer.

      eBay CS are an absolute cesspool of the very worst. My eBay low was when they banned my 20+ year old account for 'overbuying' because it was suspicious and I was a threat to the entire eBay community… That took many phone calls and chats to undo, at least 3 agents told me it was a permanent ban and I was not welcome on the platform…
      Oh and when I commented that I'd paid for Plus and would like a refund they told me they don't have to and won't do that.

      Yep. That's the norm. If a voucher is used, and refund is given…eBay will keep it.

      I had 3 of them. 1 lost, 1 fake, 1 faulty. eBay kept them all.

      Then only received 7 of the 12 vouchers. They did a senior review and found in my favor.

      4 months and they were never replaced. Always pending… still is 3 years later BTW.

      I called up for the missing vouchers. They offered me 1. Then said anything else? I asked for the other 4. She actually said I was being greedy ….and hung up.

      Never bought from eBay since.

      Shout out to Temu and AliExpress, Shine, Taobao, Amazon…

      We don't need you eBay.

      Pay me $20 for your plus…I'm still not taking it.

      If I log into my Ebay on a web browser, I don't see any targeted banners for ebay plus. It only shows up on the app (for me anyway). Maybe try the app if you haven't already?

      I don't sell anything on ebay, so dunno about the value as a seller.

    I paid $19.00 and received the emails that welcome me to eBay Plus, yet when I go to my eBay page, it doesn't appear to have activated. I have no membership. The funds have been taken from my account. Is there a contact number for eBay?

    I don't if ebay plus worth it or not but most of my more expensive purchases are from ebay, such as laptop, tablet, earbuds, washing machine etc.

    Here is a tipsy tale of how eBay scammed me. Normal $50 eBay plus with a $20 discount offeredd on their site, good enough. They didn't honour it. There was no expiry, no terms making it redundant, just declined it as I didbt follow a link to get to it and would not refund me even though it was a 2 way contrat and they did t honour the credit. eBay is scum when it chooses to be.

    Ebay Plus is no longer worth it. You don't get any seller benefits anymore or the monthly $5 off $15 spend vouchers.
