    I've only tried one a long time ago, but it was plug and play - mostly as the dock itself does all of the switching logic between the outputs.

    The alternative is a keyboard and mouse that support multiple connections (typically 3).

    I use Logitech MX Keys and M720 Triathlon Wireless Mouse with 3 screens that connected desktop and laptop. Two of the screens are connected to both and I switch based on what I'm doing.

      Haven't used it recently but it definitely works… There are some issues/ bugs ive noticed with it though like when a admin popup shows up on Windows OS, it stops working for a few seconds.
