  • The promo pages say From 02 Jul. 2025 to 09 Jul. 2025, I'll edit as needed.

I still have a supposed credit from the last one of these and “the credit” never shows up when I try and purchase anything, so not even sure if it exists even though I got the email confirming the credit from them YMMV

    • It only applies to items sold and shipped by Amazon, could it be that?

Yip, pretty much only purchase items sold and shipped by Amazon- only thing I can think is that I already have a credit balance from previously bought gift cards so the $10 credit may not show till those are fully used (and I’ve not bought much from Amazon of late), but hate the opaqueness of this promotion and doesn’t show anywhere in my account though I received the confirmation email. When I get round to finishing my balance and trying again I’ll try customer care, but overall the $10 potential saving hasn’t been worth it for me

You sure the things you wanted to buy were shipped and sold by Amazon AU? If not then the credit won’t show up.

    • Sounds like a user error to me

The promotional credit will 100% come up as soon as you get the benefit confirmation from Amazon, and it’s only applicable to ship and sold by Amazon AU products only

It’s also very clear in the T&Cs too:

Your promotional credit can only be used for purchases of eligible items shipped and sold by Amazon AU and will be automatically applied to your next purchase of eligible item(s) during checkout.

If you’ve items pending shipping and it hasn’t charged you yet, sometimes it’ll use the promotional credit automatically. Happened to me once and I didn’t realise until the customer service mentioned it. Can’t be a third party seller selling it either

What bullshit. The Youfoodz gift card is not a gift card at all. You can't use it if you are in an existing discount period without forgoing that.

Absolute rubbish. If it only works on full priced items, then it is not a gift card.

It seems misleading to be called gift card.

      From Gift Card Database:

Youfoodz gift cards cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, vouchers or discounts.

Thanks, I had a feeling this may be the case. Saved me from finding out myself

Same policy applies to HelloFresh unfortunately. I could not redeem gift cards when an ongoing targeted discount offer was applied to my account. Someone here warned about this but I did not listen. Had to wait until my discount term expired before I could make use of a $350 gc.

Now I have a new ongoing discount offer but I can't use it until I use up the gc credit.

Good for Apple. No need to worry about gift card tampering at Coles or Woolworths

Is this a one-off only, ie., for one purchase of an Apple eGift Card?

    • I think it is unfortunately. Did two separate transactions, got 2 separate emails telling me $10 promo credit added to account, but when I go to add something to cart it only says $10 promo credit applied…

      • Could work with two different Amazon accounts?
Seems like Prime is not a requirement?

Hellofresh gift card is garbage - it will remove any other discounts that you have. It is NOT a cash equivalent.

    • HelloFresh owns Youfoodz and both have the same T&Cs. Not the typical gift card that we expect.

      From Gift Card Database:

HelloFresh gift cards cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, vouchers or discounts.
