$20 off with $80 Groceries Order (Up to 3 Uses) @ Uber Eats

90

Likely targeted and likely only for ubereats plus members only.

$20 off groceries with $80 minimum spend.
Valid for 3x orders.

Not the best deal but works out to be about the same as shopping in store or getting click and collect.

When stacked with $10 for 3 items at Coles and $2.20 off for scheduled order, may work out about 10% cheaper than shopping directly in store (depending on what items you get).

    For any professional uber fiends.

Lets say you have one of this Spend $X get $Y off

To K.I.S.S. lets say its Spend $40 get $20 off.

Obviously the best bargain you can get is when you spend as close to $40 as possible which is effectively 50% off
    Now the fun part.
These discounts apply to the brand, not the specific store, but the orders/carts are tied to a location.
If you live in a typical Suburban area, myself i have like 3 coles and 4 woolies near me with free delivery
You can start an order with all locations available to you, obviously not using the ones with long distance delivery fees.
Now to line up your ducks in a row, go to the order confirmation screen with all your orders on different tabs on your browser
Place your orders 1 by 1, the $20 off discount will be processed for every order
^The discount that applies your basket should last until the first order is fully picked^, but why risk that, just do all your prep work before you start // ^this is an assumption

This is something that can be done with any type of uber eats discount

Basic tips, mostly unbranded/bulk/value brands are the best items to use this with as they are the items that are the most similar to in-store pricing, supermarket catalogue special / yellow ticket stuff isnt applied to these delivery apps, most items are 10% higher on the uber eats site.

    Instore normal pricing ~ $180
My overall spend today was $119.58 (including all the service fees
    Around a 31% saving.

    Enjoy while it lasts.

Also laugh when 5+ delivery people arrive, some at the same time.

    Edit.
With varying success I've also sent specific requests to the delivery people to specifically not collect some items meaning the deal would become spend $30 get $20 off.

    • This used to be the case but recently they've closed this loophole

      • No they haven’t. Was able to put through 3 orders at Metro, Safeway and Coles when they had the spend $40 get $30 off.

You're lucky to get a smart delivery / pick up person. Mine literally picked bags of chicken with best before tomorrow 😅. Which actuallt works well for me because I got to chat with uber support and got a refund haha

  • Did you get an email about this or just showing in the app OP?

  • This is cheaper than in store, 20/80 lol

    • Sort of. Their items are marked up by 10% and then there's also service fee of $6.

      • I am waiting for 10% gift cards 😂
