The adventure explodes into action with the debut of Mewtwo, a bio-engineered Pokémon created from the DNA of Mew, the rarest of all Pokémon. After escaping from the lab where it was created, Mewtwo is determined to prove its own superority. It lures a number of talented Pokémon Trainers—including Ash and his friends—into a Pokémon battle like never before. Mewtwo vs. Mew. Super-clones vs. regular Pokémon. It’s the ultimate showdown…with the very future of the world at stake!

Gotta catch em all. Even at 36
Incredible song, ludicrously cheesy lyrics, has absolutely nothing to do with the plot or themes of the film in any way other than appearing on the soundtrack, and yet… still on regular play in this household.
@Phanatic: This came on back in the day and mate … you just knew that everything was going to be okay. They just don’t make music like this no more.
For me, it's Vacation by Vitimin C:

This movie had an extremely 90s soundtrack.
I remember watching that music video on Video Hits and seeing clips from the Pokemon movie on the drive-in screen then watching the same music video on RAGE and there were no Pokemon clips for some reason. Something else played on the drive-in screen but I never knew why.
Oh yeah I cried like a baby inside the theatre when I first saw this
1:03:02 get your tissue
I'll have you know I only cried a little bit this time.
Wow that brings back memories, had that on VHS back in the day!
Is this the full version, or the theatrical release?
Director's cut
Pokemon the Movie: Uncut (rule34 Goon Release)
it's short because in the theatres they had the theme park mini-episode before it to bring it to a 1.5 hour runtime
I completely forgot about that theme park mini-episode!
It made my mum fall asleep lol, only reason i remember it
It's the ultimate showdown……and then there's another 25 years of ultimate showdowns afterwards.
I remember getting the holographic Mew pokemon card when seeing this at the theatres, 6 years old!
I was not quite as young as 6 but I also remember getting that card and still have it to this day!
That ancient mew card is still worth something today. I went to Collect Fest yesterday and a PSA10 graded card of it was $350 and a PSA7 is $140. Ungraded cards of it, still worth something too around $40 to $90.
Ah simpler times
I remember going to the cinema to watch this as part of my friend’s 7th birthday party, and half of the group fell asleep. Says a lot for 7 year olds to be falling asleep during a midday screening.
Does it come with a free Pokémon card?
I remember getting one from the greater union cinema (before it became event) when this came out but can’t remember much more!
Still don't understand why these are deals lol. Just go to any other website and watch.
Convenience, YouTube doesn't require a subscription or an account.
Thanks op, I can watch it on my Nintendo switch.
Ash and I who will die first?
seems like people getting pretty nostalgic.
I also saw Speed Racer movie (based on old anime) is also on youtube. https://youtu.be/itD-t0I2A4o
only watched the first 5 mins but I was surprised at how good the video quality is especially when filled with the CG type effects. youtube must put a better mb/s on their movies because they look way better than regular youtube videos at the same resolution.
Even i at 35 recently went and watched Ash finally become a pokemon master in the final season!
Yes i teared up! No i am not ashamed…
I remember I had it on VHS, in that styrofoamy clamshell case. Good times!
Trying to watch ftom overseas but unable, although i hv used Au VP. Still says the uploader has not made this video avail bla bla
