Samsung Edu Site, 30% Is Max Discount on S25/S25+?

Samsung edu site has the S25 plus (512GB) for $1,262 this includes:
- 30% off discount (will expire 9th of July, do they have 30% off regularly?)
- 5% first time purchase discount

I couldn't find it any cheaper anywhere else.
Is this the best that it's gonna get? Any extra discount codes I can stack? Any other retailer with better price? I know there was a "hack" to get s25 for much cheaper when it was at preorder stage but can't bring back time.

I also know Amazon prime is in two days so will check that as well.

My ozbargin skills isn't strong with smartphones so any input is appreciated.

A side question, does anyone know if s26+ (~6months from now) will get Snapdragon chip or will they put the exynos chip in it (they usually put exynos every 2 generations) ? Or is the exynos chip not a thing in Australian Samsungs?

    S26 will almost certainly have Exynos 2600 locally.

    The S23 and S25 base models having Snapdragon chips in Australia was solely because Samsung kept having issues with their foundry, and couldn't deliver the performance or yield required in time.

    Those issues are now largely resolved with their new 2mm node, or at least are rumored to be, so we're unlikely to get Snapdragon again for a while.

          Many Exynos variants (especially the older ones) are known to be power hungry and overheat, while SD, including the latest Elite chip performs better, is more stable and more efficient.

    Not sure if worth looking into but the Samsung unpacked event is in 2+ days. Typically on release they bring out a bunch of vouchers and stuff to get devices at a good price, though they are usually for the device released. But might be worth taking a look or waiting incase they do some sale for the day maybe? https://www.samsung.com/au/unpacked/

      Yeah, the 30% off that expires on 9th seems to be THE discount before unpacked. There is also the $20->$100 eVoucher but it is explicitly to pre-order new unreleased devices.

      Will see if Amazon Prime has any good deals otherwise might as well just wait until end of year, can live with my current phone for an extra 5 months

    Just thought I'll share that I've pulled the trigger on Galaxy S25 Ultra 512GB for $1483.99 through the education portal after the 30% off, 5% first time, additional 5% from chat.

      Congrats, great device! I cant imagine a better price for it right now. Amazon Prime is, as usual, … a disappointment.

      I decided against buying a phone now since my current phone still has life in it, it will easily carry me at least until end of year, will see how it goes at that time, might get OnePlus 13 or S25+ if the price is right.
