Nothing much of any real interest to me so far but might be useful to some. May be worth checking at least daily as deals are added.

anyone got recco's for a good value laser level?
No specific recommendation, but avoid anything with an internal battery. I have one that I charged & used a few times and the battery appears to have failed, pretty much on 13 months old so out of warranty. That one is Huepar
Do recommend a green laser though, as they are easier to see.
Leaning towards a Bosch Quigo or a Bosch Professional GLL 50 G at the moment. Both run on AA batteries.

Lasers with an output greater than 1 mW are considered prohibited weapons in Australia.
Does this have an exemption?
Lasers chew through AAs. Hassle with changing them out is you lose the position of your laser each time.
With the Bosch Professional ones at least you can fit the 10.8/12v stub batteries if you have them from their other tools. And they run the laser for much much longer vs AAs.
also a good point
Good point, but overkill for my needs. My usage is fairly low, otherwise I would buy the Makita SK105GDZ, as I am in that battery system.
I was looking out for the Bosch PBD40 drill press but the discount was garbage, $351 is not good when it's been under $300 plenty of times, as low as $215 before.
Definitely not great. I paid $254 October 2023. Perhaps set up an alert in case it drops.
Thank you!
