This is the lowest it’s ever been for years according to camels by a long long way! -37% OFF

An absolute must buy if you’re a Star Wars fan wishing to see the films in 4K and are in bothered by the discs slipped into cardboard slots.

I’m actually pretty miffed as I just recently bought them all individually for $150 more than this. I looked at the price history and didn’t think this would happen again.

Why are there so many discs? There's only 3 movies.

9 Movies plus their accompanying bonus feature discs

        3*

        • It is literally 9 movies if you actually read the listing.

"Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Box Set - Limited Edition (27 discs) featuring all 9 Saga movies on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and Bonus discs (Blu-ray) for every movie in one complete set for the first time."

  • Tempted to pull the trigger. Great price!

    • Couldn’t be a better time.

    discs are still a thing?

4K UHD discs are a game changer if you have all the right gear (OLED TV, great sound system and a capable blu ray player). I finally gave in and bought a few to see what the hype was about, and the difference is pretty unreal compared to streaming, in sound quality especially. It's expensive and kinda wanky but watching Fury Road in my bedroom was a better than any theatre experience I've ever had

I've recently moved to buying UHD discs and the differences are night and day! Of course, this depends on your setup… I've got an OLED plus Atmos setup so yeah it works great. If you have a setup like that, you don't get the best experience from using the player in a PS5 or Xbox sadly, just something to note.

The difference with some movies compared with streaming or acquiring from the high seas can be like seeing the movie for the first time again.

A couple of good examples of this are the Dune movies and Interstellar.

      • You don't get Dolby Vision with consoles, rather HDR10. The difference is fairly marginal, and you can still get a fantastic experience with one.

It's not just that. When I compared the general IQ between my ub820 and ps5, it's very noticeable.

But again it depends on your setup if it's worth it.

or.. hear me out, you could just buy the 3 movies that really matter for $110 and save some money.

    • Phantom Menace, Return of the Jedi and The Last Jedi?

  • The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, Solo, Rogue One, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, The Force Awakens, and The Last Jedi on 4K Blu-ray were available in sales individually for between $8-$12.98 each in 2020 when Disney released them here Australia, a few years before they pulled out of our local market.
