    • Was it wireless or wired like the image?

      • mine was wireless but image was wired obvs, make sure you hit wireless

  • bought this a few days ago for $161.30 and they won't honour price difference refund, so am returning it and will buy at this price

Being cleared because the updated model has just launched, complete with actually bothering to have lower treble levels that suit a headphone.

This model measures more like a bright speaker than a headphone - which is bad because speaker audio comes from a different position and interacts with your head, dampening some of the audible spectrum to a degree - and apparently this doesn't come with any form of custom EQ in the software.

Updated model has a pretty good frequency response, but detail will likely be found wanting compared to the more professionally-focused wireless offerings (Audeze Maxwell, AKG N9, etc).

    • Can you let me know what the updates model is

      • +1

That would be the brand new HyperX Cloud III S, but at almost $400, I would suggest you look at the AKG N9 instead.

  • Does this have the BlueTooth?

    • Usually it's a dongle

  • Black OOS
