Hey OzBargain!

Just wanted to share a little update. My previous website, Platinum Telecom, has now been rebranded to JusteSIMs, and we’re now fully focused on travel eSIMs.

If you’ve used our eSIMs before or want to give them a try, I’d love your feedback. This is something I run personally, and I’m always looking to improve the service.

There is a big project at the moment to simplify how the additional “Global Voice Pass” add on works, but this can currently be purchased for $1/day and gets activated 24hrs before your set activation date.

    No we are doing pretty good on that aspect. But the idea was certainly to do it differently to all other eSIM providers. Gift cards can be redeemed immediately.

  Nope. Just, nope.

  I hope you do well, but gift cards for a company that has existed for a matter of weeks (domain registered in May), with an address of a serviced office, selling eSIMs that are the same as countless other websites but at higher prices? No thanks. I might try one of your esims at some point, but not via a gift card…

    Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. The business has been registered for much long. Yes the domain is new because of a rebrand. But it does sound like Gift Cards are not the way to go.

    And yes, eSIMs are the same as countless websites, although the global voice pass add on is a little more unique.

    Yes that’s correct. NonHK doesn’t exit via Honk Kong.

    So you can purchase the eSIM today and you’ll have 180 days from then to activate (activation is when it connects to a network locally in the UK)

  As a comparison to other offers we've seen so far for a 20Gb 30 day UK eSIM, data only:

  • Just eSIMs - $28.00 - 25% = $20.50. Network is Vodafone UK. Scan code immediately, activates automatically when it connects to the UK network
  • TravelKon (last special) - $31.50 . Network is 3 Austria. Scan code immediately, activates automatically when it connects to a supported network (ie UK and EU)
  • Flex AU - USD$14.73 = $22.61. Network unknown, data exit Hong Kong. Scan code immediately, activates automatically when it connects to the UK network
