They don't appear to be an Authorised Reseller, so you will not get any warranty support if you care about that.

    Also, price in title please.

Grey Import. Been around for a while. Better off going with local stock through Digi, etc (as much as Digi sucks)

  • Better wait for a sale with an Aus stock. The 24-70 kit lens isnt that expensive if you buy used.

  • HK stock, would avoid

    • That seller is also grey import

  • The camera itself can be purchased from Amazon au for $4933 so 95% of that is $4686. So $1200 equivalent price for the lens, its $1500 on Amazon Au. Switching to the 24-200 you can get both for 5885.25 from Amazon Au (that is with the sell being Amazon Au) with the 5% discount.

  • Has anybody purchased camera gear from CCC Warehouse before and had any issues? Some lenses are cheaper than buying second hand so it’s certainly tempting.

Buy at your own risk. They are grey imports so no local warranty from manufacturer and not protected by acl if any issue arises.

The price of local Z8 stock has taken a tumble recently which makes this a less compelling deal than it would've been even a couple of months ago, but even so, some of the utterly uninformed nonsense in this thread is crazy. OzBargain, of all places, getting snooty over parallel imports is so patently absurd, it's making my head spin.

Grey imports are fine. You forgo a two-year Nikon warranty (which is diabolically poor for a $5k+ bit of kit, anyway) for one year Australia consumer law protection plus credit card protections. The amount I've saved over the years on grey import camera gear MORE than covers the costs I would've incurred had I needed to have something repaired inside the period that would usually have been covered by the official warranty…which is something I've never had to do because, again, grey market kit is FINE.

    • Thank you. Any places you would recommend? Most camera gear I’ve found to be fairly reliable to date so never had to use an AU warranty touch wood.
