Creatine Gummy Warning - Scam

PSA for all the gym & fitness ozbargainers who have an interest in Creatine supplementation.

Recently a number of creatine gummy products have been independently tested and found to contain little to no creatine. Do your research if you are still keen on having gummies or stick to the more reliable powder or capsule forms.

It's disappointing that companies take advantage of their customers like this, especially when we're struggling with the price increases to protein powders.

I used to get bombarded with ads for creatine gummies from businesses and influencers - and i was always thinking…why? Just ..take it in the powder form as is?

    • The only use case I can envision is when travelling. I have always felt weird bringing it on a plane and buying it for a couple weeks of use in my destination feels like a waste.

Having said that, it's still too expensive imo

Haha I had similar paranoia when I used to take pre-workout pre portioned in little baggies on interstate trips

I usually take mine in the car. Gummies would’ve been great for that, so I didn’t make a mess all the time.
When someone described them as not even gritty in the slightest, i started thinking something wasn’t quite right.

    • Why can’t people just be adults and shove a dry spoon full in their mouth and wash it down with a white monster like a reasonable person. (Me)

i used to get a ikea glass mug, pour out an icy monster white over ice cubes and stir in 5g of creatine and smash it before a workout. Lately I've been having the creatine AFTER the workout and after 5 weeks of this…idk if i can really see any difference in pre vs post workout consumption .

Apparently its better after a work out, but i figure since its job is to basically retain water and what ever else in your muscles and only needs to be taken once a day after loading- it can’t really make all too much difference when you take it as long as you stay hydrated.

Anyone who needs to buy gummie bears for creatine and gets scammed… really hard to dig up any sympathy for them.

    What next- creatine dummy lollies?

    • Lol - I scoop straight to mouth and chase it with water or milk. Never bothered me

      • Yeah, it's got no taste. Why would anyone want to go to the trouble and expense of gummies. It's a fair bit of bulk to dump into gummies too. The idea just makes no sense at all.

        • Really? My creatine has a distinct musk and tastes kind of bitter

  • lol 😂

  • supplements not containing the ingredients they claim to contain? who would have thought

  • Creatine makes my face puffy.

    • That's not the creatine, jv…

  • Actually great video for expsoing that entire brand / industry its so important what you put in your body
