I have a G-5600E still working perfectly for 10+ years. Battery level still indicates high. Possibly the most indestructible product you can get. Highly recommended. Funnily enough I think I paid around the same price, about a decade or so ago.

    CasioPussy (black, resin lens)… $48.00(amazon.com.au)

    New model???

    • +1

It's a nickname because it looks like the watch from Octopussy.

    • +1

I get the reference I think… James Bond in Octopussy rocked a Seiko digital watch, which in 80s when it was cinemas would've been cool and cutting edge. The Casio World Timer doesn't look too far off that design.

    • aka casio royale. silver is goat.

      • +1

Yeah not sure why it's got that nickname because there was no watch in Casino Royale that looked like this. CasioPussy makes more sense.

I’m sad I missed out on gbd200 purple at $159 this sale

  • This one looks nice

$89 is a lot to pay for a resin case & lens Casio.

      • But $15-20k for. SS ROlex isn’t ?

Id rather buy a Casio than DW

And these do last a long time.

My f91 and aw158 are still going strong after over a decade.

        • +1

Yeah but you can get the much cooler Silver CasioPussy (resin case & lens) for less… $67.29.

And it's basically just a round version of the A158WA-1A… $50.76.

  • Is $95 a good price for the a100we ?

    • It’s reasonable

    • You can use Camel to see the average price. I found one here for $85.45.

Seems overpriced for what it is though.

    W219H-2A gone @WatchNerd

    • +1

Thanks, black is on sale too for $45. Wasn't long ago that was normal price.

      • +1

Oohh I missed the black one, that's getting added to the collection.

        • What's it like?

          • +1

@WatchNerd: It's kinda like an "econo G Shock" with very basic functionality. This YT video shows the functionality. However, it's perfect for use whilst doing my nightfill job without worrying about bumps or scratches.

GAB2100 pretty good one, but I will miss it this time.

About 3y ago, I grabbed tough solar with moon phase and tide phase one around 40+ bucks

Shell with holes holding pins of straps broken apart, never again find cheap tough solar one at same price range anymore.

    Thanks,OP!

Bought this watch in 2009 in Korea. Wearing it right now. Replaced the strap 2 weeks ago. Good as new.
