Fat Brain Toys Air Toobz $174.99 Delivered / VIC C&C @ Toypark

03

Just picked up the Fat Brain Toys Air Toobz for $174.99 from ToyPark — the lowest price I could find anywhere in Australia (and trust me, I scoured the web!).
We’ve bought a few toys from ToyPark before and their shipping has always been surprisingly quick, which is a big win especially when trying to keep the kids entertained.
If you’ve been eyeing the Air Toobz for your little ones, or even as a fun gift idea, this is probably the best deal around right now.

However they have written this deal descriptionsin a specific way (perhaps with the use of AI tools) that makes it seem contradictory to that fact. We advice that you ignore their descriptions as such.

You make it sound like you're a customer!

That is quite common practice overseas, but not very Aussie spirited.

I see it as pretty dishonest - especially for casual browsers of ozbargain who aren’t familiar with the associated tags

Why does it say 10% off site wide but doesn't apply to this?

this is probably the best deal around right now.

That's not very confident for someone who scoured the whole internet. And why are you trying to sockpuppet when you're associated with the store?

    • +2

They also said "trust me" which is a bit ironic when they pretended they weren't associated.

Neg for trying to mislead the community, not really what OzB is meant for.

Lol 😂 why am I not surprised?

Seems shady. Just like that 3d Art person the other day.

Whats the big brain idea behind leaving a mod note and not just modifying the description (deleting it) or punitive against the store? The description is VERY misleading!

While I wouldn't buy this (and definitely not from Toypark now) we just borrowed this today from our local toy library and it really is great. Don't know if it'll have much longevity though as there's only so much you can do with it the pieces in the kit. I think my 3 year old will tire of it by the time it's due to return.
