For users from Internode, Bigpond and other ISP who server Steam content, you can use a service called SteamWatch to filter out other providors so you use only your ISP's content.

Bioshock for $4.99 (US). Absolute bargain.

    • that is truly unbelievable. wouldnt get it for less than $50 in a store here would you?

  • The Valve Pack at 79.99 USD looks pretty good value. I'm not a multiplayer person but simpley the combination of the complete Half Life, Orange Box, Portal, Left 4 Dead in one as well as the Counter Strike Series looks good for those who have not played these games

Left 4 Dead Four Player Pack for $134.99 USD is also the cheapest I've seen and allows you to give three licences away to your friends.

Follow the jump for the details.

Best ones I've found so far:

    • ID Super Pack for $35 from $70
    • Ultimate Doom for $1 from $10 (so much for 10-75% :p)
    • BioShock for $5 from $20
    • Unreal Deal Pack for $20 from $40
    • UT 3 for $10 from $20

    (US prices)

    • Still, $10. Having said that, I didn't buy it from advice from a friend with the game. Supposedly it's a screw over by EA which isn't surprising given they are more interesting in a big launch rather than a great game.

  • If you are going to buy bioshock, don't forget to get the artbook on the way out.

  • fenerli, just remember it's all in USD!

    • .67*** conversion on PayPal.
My $26.44 purchase will cost me close to $40.

  • No love for Peggle Deluxe at $4.99? Not quite the same league as Bioshock, but I'm definitely picking it up still!

    • Serious? Peggle Extreme killed a nice hour but I can't imagine playing that any more, even if it was free.

  • Damn. I was gonna post this :(

Anyway…these are the best bargains I found:

    Portal $5
Half-Life: Opposing Force (sure it's old, but it's a reasonable multiplayer for a buck)
    AudioSurf $5

    Did I mention: PORTAL!!! $5!!!

Damn slow crappy Internet. Back in a year once the 5 gigs have downloaded…

    • The slowness of Internet isn't really a problem, it's the monthly quotas :(

      And not sure about Audiosurf…

  • Sooo much choice :(

Probably looking at Team Fortress 2 (US$10) and Portal, but don't know whether I should get a pack instead!

  • go the valve pack!

    • I ended up getting the Valve Complete Pack and the id Super Pack. I doubt I'll play most of the games but it's good value and good to give back to the developers.

      • I really liked the ID superpack.
Commander Keen sure brings back some memories.
$34.99 or $52 and a bit cents AUD.
