Solid discount over RRP and smells good but you could just get Montblanc Explorer or Club De Nuit Intense Man for a fraction of the price and 90% similarities.
I thought asedos did an ok ‘homage’ to it in their perfume oil range too. Otherwise CDN was ok overall too yeah.
CDNIM is vile and nothing like this IMO
The initial smell is pretty intense but the drydown is similar. Its still too strong for me so I stick with Montblanc Explorer. Cheap from ChemistWarehouse if you can find stock.
I've owned both of these, CDNIM is nuclear but smells harsh and chemically, Explorer is good but lasts 30 minutes max if you're lucky.
Al haramain L aventure is the best clone by far, actually has the pineapple note in it and also lasts maybe 4-5 hours.
@ClintonL: I've got both CDNIM and the LE version of it, the LE one is a bit better I reckon (which seems to be the general consensus). And I've also got the Intense version of L'aventure. It is different to the CDNIM ones for sure. But I think I prefer CDNIM LE over it most of the time, but not always.
@MonkDog: I found that CDNIM had a more smoky smell, the first 30 minutes were nasty but if you enjoy that type of smell the performance is like 10 hours and projects like crazy. Not everyone can wear and pull that off and for me the fruiter side of L'aventure worked better.
Armaf has it's place but just not for me, I owned a bottle of Sillage and recently bought Silver Mountain Water. I think the Armaf versions just blast the top note of the fragrance then have this metallic/chemical edge that helps with the performance.
Will probably just try keep a smaller collection but go quality from now. There are FB groups where people sell Creed full tester bottles for pretty cheap.
This may be unpopular but I don't think the copies smell the same as creed. I guess they are worth it at the price but if you can afford the creed imo it's better.
nah thats fair - on the flip side, i have an authentic aventus and silver mountain water but because they cost so much I am flat out justifying using it a handful of times a year…
I have authentic creed and a few dupes. The authentic creed is weak as piss nowadays. I've owned a sample of an old batfch. That thing had like 4x the performance of modern creed.

This original stays for only 1 hour hardly. Bought from myer, not happy
