There is a 50% coupon which brings it down to 19.99, seems pretty decent for a hub with PD, HDMI and 10gbps ports.

There are rarely high speed hubs with longer cables, but im sure you could fine one. Maybe you could try an extension cable but make sure its also a high speed cable so performance isnt effected
I got a 50cm usb4 cable + usb4 female to female adapter from AliExpress and it works good. I have the hub under my desk and cable routed above to the laptop
Oh genius
Thanks both
Why hub under desk what if we want to plug usb drives or mouse (and the laptop ports are full)
@McMaferMur: Probably just for a cleaner and more permnament solution with the things that don't really need to be touched often
@McMaferMur: It works for my use case. I use the hub for hdmi + power + mouse usb + headset usb dongles which are better off under the desk and out of site.
I use these extension cables. I found them more reliable than other brands.

Awesome thank you
I was thinking of getting this one, looks like it has a long cable from the pics, also has an extra usbc port, no hdmi though
it says 2feet
but the c port for PD is just that, PD (power) no data or video -hmm same with this one wavelink actually lol
damn cant use NAB10 with this (plus another item, total $88) because this has $20 promo already, cant stack with NAB10
Would it work for Nintendo switch hooked to the monitor/tv
Technically it will but there were threads on reddit about some.bad 3rd patry dock/ hub /carger has damaged their swiths
I have a 3440x1440 alienware (34aw23) that maxes out at 144 or 165hz.
Would this work at that refresh rate, or would it work if I still plug in monitor to laptop, and just have the dock to power the laptop + run some peripherals (webcam, mouse) - obviously this doesn't pass through PD as expected for price.
Some of these hubs have been hit and miss for me. I've tried a few already and if it's not resolution/refresh rate issues, its driver requirements (a dealbreaker for some work laptops).
You might be better off with a powered dock from a known brand.
I ended up picking up a used HP G5 dock off marketplace and it's worked surprisingly well (has even worked on my laptop without Thunderbolt). Running 2x screens via DP (DP1: 3440x1440@95hz, DP2: 2560x1440@165hz).
You'll probably need displayport 1.4 or hdmi 2.1 for that refresh rate, and hard to get that on hubs this cheap.
(You can get by with DP 1.2 which is more common with at 100hz refresh)there's a ugreen revodok pro 11-in-1 on Amazon for about 80 bucks that had a DP 1.4 and 4k120hz, though I got a defective unit with that model so YMMV.
Most hubs only have tech spec claims up to 60hz so it's a real trial and error piece
These hubs are for WFH people, its very basic and breaks down after some time
not recommended to use with 144hz monitors because you are limited to 60
Shame no card reader with it .
Any recommendations for similar ones with longer cables?
