Wait, I'm confused about the movie. So the cops knew that Internal Affairs was setting them up?

Basically, the FBI found no mini PC; however, previously it had been on their desk for weeks.

      • Dan Beegino is threatening to quit over this.

and they would have gotten away with it, if it wasnt for that lip gloss in the centre console.

I wouldn't have expected they'd use SSDs manufactured in the US. (Crucial P3 Plus)

Thanks for sharing. That was super interesting.

I saw someone in the comments say it's actually a factory run by AZW, a OEM manufacturer. Still, very impressive.

Almost made me want to order one as a way of thanking them for the demonstration, but I have absolutely no use for one!

    • Thanks for clarifying. Info says Beelink but I honestly wonder how much of this stuff comes out of the exact same factory. Chinas really perfected the manufacturing side of thing. I’d be surprised if they all used a different manufacturers.

For me, I was happy to finally see how the case was made. They are really professional looking and I assumed it was pressed sheet (as aluminium block would cost a fortune) however they do have that nice milled look. Turns out, they press sheet to size, then slightly mill it!

Also, lots of shake tests :-D

That was fascinating stuff - as I sit here watching this along with my little MS! Cubi. They certainly have perfected manufacturing and working in spotlessly clean factories. But I guess we can see why only places like China can do this stuff. The number of processes and sheer numbers of staff, each doing just one tiny bit of the assembly. That'd never work here, and I guess Trump is going to find that out once he mandates that everything they need has to be made in the US.

Interesting, and surprising how labour intensive it still is.

I have a Trigkey minipc, which I suspect is a rebadged Beelink. Very nicely made.

I want a 1/8" screwdriver with that type of torque.

I just watched the whole thing. Fascinating! So many people involved. Thanks for suggesting it.
