[PC, Steam] Free DLC - World of Warships — Starter Pack: Dreadnought @ Steam

930

The base free to play game is required to claim.

New to World of Warships? Dip your toes in the water with a Premium battleship, Premium cruiser, and set of sweet bonuses:

This package includes:

  • 2x Premium ships: Premium ships come fully equipped and provide benefits such as XP conversion, no penalties for Commander transfer, etc.
  • British battleship Dreadnought. Being the first of her kind, the Royal Navy’s Dreadnought revolutionized the history of shipbuilding. In the game, she sails at an unhurried pace and doesn't have an ideal gun arrangement, which is typical of lower-tier battleships.
  • American cruiser Charleston. This large cruiser with moderate speed, a large HP pool, and numerous main battery guns is perfectly suited to causing some impressive damage in battle. Due to the above-average number of guns for her tier, the ship stands as a hazardous opponent for ships of any type.
  • 3 days of Warships Premium Account: When active, provides important bonuses to XP and Credits.
  • 2x Port slots
  • 1x Steam permanent camouflage: unique Steam-exclusive design!
  • 7x common expendable economic bonuses of four types (Credits +20%,Ship XP +100%, Commander XP +100%, and Free XP +300%)

Camouflages only change the ship exterior and do not provide any economic or combat bonuses.

If you already have these ships in your Port, you will not receive any compensation.

The content of this DLC will be invoiced on your Wargaming Account only once.

As someone who has played many thousands of hours of this game - This is incredibly over priced.

    • any feedback on the game itself? apparently you love it so much based on the hours. Any purchases required to enjoy the game?

gameplay itself is quite fun, very arcadey however.

The game is also very grindy. It's F2P to attract players but after you unlock a few ships your progression will slow down and that's when you're being compelled to pay for a premium account for bonus XP.

Very grindy… took me a long time before I got enough decent ships to always have something interesting to play. You CAN play it without spending money, but the grind will be a LOT longer. Unfortunately whilst whaling is an option, it's very very expensive. VERY expensive.

I have spent way too much on this game since it came out. Like, 4 digits. I'm also a CV main so I cop a lot of hate lol. In saying that this is not worth it. The first rank ships are sufficient and you can find codes that give you ships and credits too.

But is the game good? Very much so if this kind of gameplay is your thing. If you want something more action though go with war thunder.

Come on man, CVs exist only to detract from the enjoyment of others. You hide behind an island and dish out risk free damage all match… play a real ship. :D

      • lol. To be fair, I play assault CV's with great secondaries. I main Graf Zeppelin and nuke cruisers :P

  • This is a crazy game - each premium ship costs AUD70-200 dollars and there are hundreds of ships in the game.

Though you can use the free ships to play the ranking (I played silver) you won't be able to win

    • You can win with free ships. Premium ships are largely just better at credit and XP earning. Sure, some have cool gimmicks, but there are heaps of free ships that will crap on heaps of premiums.

    I used to play.
The ownership structure of the publisher and developer changed a lot in last 3 years and some parts of the business have recently have been "aquired" through a legal case by the Russian government including all profits.
If you going to pay money into any "Wargaming" account think about where it goes.

    • Lesta = Russia. Wargaming = not russia. Two different versions of the game.

      • Yep, but you tell me who gets the money when the whales play this game? I don't really know. Seems they both get some, or maybe one funnels it to the other.
