Idk, I tend to buy $500 at a time which lasts 2-3 weeks usually. If I wasn't already getting them for 5% off I'd probably buy $2000.

Many providers offer 4%. It all depends on who you are with. You get this if you have Everyday Mobile, Bupa Life Rewards, Blue Light Card Australia, etc. Check your providers and services you use.
EG 5% could be good. Does anyone know if they also work in all fuel pumps like the 7/11 ones do?

I fill at EG Ampol as well so just easier to have 1 type of card on the go and even if they close the loophole I'll still use any EG cards I have on hand but yeah, if you're just doing groceries why take on the added risk.
Although not available for THIS deal, if you ever get the option of the Woolworths Essentials card through the gift card portal for the same % discount as the EG, choose it. It covers woolworths, EG fuel AND Big W.

Trying to get an EG card since the Woolies ones are dead in the water and I just keep getting an "Oops.. Something went wrong, please try again" error (in-app)
I had the same issues with selecting EG so I picked Woolies and all the available options came up including EG. Purchase went through fine. 1% and bonus cashback tracked within minutes.
There's definitely something wrong with Shopback (outside of their usual dumbfkery) as the oops error is coming up even for the workaround. And it had an 'EG Gift Card' label under a MYER card smh
It is now working for me on the app under Woolworths Supermarket cards (they are still not available) but the EG and others are. Just click on any of the Woolies affiliated cards and see what brings up all that are still available.

This is the first time I've tried buying a "bonus" gifcard via the bank Lounge and damn it was confusing, click on the promo and it would just loop back to the standard % with no obvious clarity on whether the bonus % would apply.
