Was the restaurant closed? That was the problem with mine. Closed on Mondays but their menulog accepts orders 7 days a week. After about 10 minutes it times out and cancels the order, they used to give you a $5 voucher but I didn't get one this time.
possibly that, i was ordering with a CBA cashback expiring tomorrow, the amount was charged on my CBA CC as pending, and then dissapeared after the order was cancelled. I'll try again tomorrow maybe (if this offer is also there by then).
figured out what may have been the reason - the particular pizza place had their own 10% off offer yesterday on menulog - today it isn't there and the order went through. They possibly didn't remove their own 10% off offer before signing up for Menulog's offer? As per google listing they are open 7 days a week so the restaurant must have been open yesterday.
Menulog pay for this code so it shouldn't be a problem, I used to use the weekly ones with a 20% off restaurant offer.
Possibly they just didn't accept the order in time, didn't notice it, too busy etc.
@hamza23: oh ok i thought it is like 'discount sharing' scheme like ebay etc. good to know. cheers i had pizza dinner already with plenty of left over for tomorrow lunch and dinner both lol.

thx op. Be careful pizza lovers. Ive noticed a few pizza places (and other restraunts) with bad reviews ect just create a new business name and new profile on menulog doordash ect
do a google search and abn reverse lookup to see if other names pop up with restraunts you dont like to order from
