Tried to activate a Lebara $2 starter pack sim.
Entered my details into the form but it said 'Failed to submit details'.
Anyone encountered this issue before?

Sort of, my wife has an unusual first name and it seems to be on their banned words list. She cannot sign up to Lebara and had to change the name on her account with the previous provider to my name before her number would successfully port to Lebara. It was a pain in the neck, but she'd already bought a 1 year pack at Woolies.
The customer service team were unable to help and couldn't activate it on their end with her name either, they got the same error. I asked for it to be submitted through to their technical team to be fixed but nothing ever came of it. I tried a year later and it still wouldn't activate in her name.

Maybe there's something going on with vodafones network today.
I bought a vodafone sim today and went to activate it. Normally it happens within the hour if you do it on a weekday, but atm it's saying it will happen tomorrow
I'm currently on a Lebara 360 day SIM. I recommend you just call Lebara's customer support number displayed on the SIM cards original packaging or from the Lebara website.
Being an OzBargainer often porting to new prepaid plans I am often running into quirky issues. Lebara's customer support telephone line is a great start for troubleshooting.
