  have use it for 6 months best shaver ive ever owned , use it 2-3 minutes per day for a quick once over as i have a thick beard and never had a problem. Close shave only not for longer hair.

      wow ok lol - about looks i dont really care - razer burn hasnt happened to me , just sharing my personal opinion and yes ive tried panasonic and braun both crap to me . each to there own. As you can imagine ive already got a 5 oclock shadow by the 3pm , so ive been through a lot of shavers. honestly wish i was asian so i wouldnt have to shave soo damn much…

      I don't own this particular shaver from Wahl, but I have others, they are of good quality. You'll find many barber shops use their stuff, rather than the usual consumer stuff from Braun or Panasonic. (and yes their design tends to be flashy, but much more durable and commercial grade)

  Great shaver. This is what the old series 7 became. I have the 9 and it's not super worth it, wish I got the 8 in hindsight.

  My last series 7 lasted me 15 years. Just stay on top of maintenance and swap the blade once a year and they go forever.

      I can't speak for the new Series 8, but on my old Series 7 they were very replaceable with a few screwdrivers and one sourced from AliExpress. Mind you mine lasted 10 years before I had to swap it.

      Battery goes for ages. I usually only need to charge every 1 week or so.

      I use ShaverGuard from Shaver Shop. Once a week I rinse out the blade of all hairs, let it dry and then apply shaver guard to keep it lubricated and disinfected.

      Much cheaper than the Braun capsules.

    I had series 5 since 17-18 as well. Solid unit ! It recently died and I upgraded to this , Can’t complain , Under the Chin is always hit and miss but different facial structure different results . For the Price you can’t go Wrong $229 is lowest I’ve seen .
