I have used these in the past and they work well except one of my cats has gotten into the habbit on peeing on them so I don't use them anymore.

Anyone having trouble checking out? Can't select a payment method.

    • No troubles for me. I bought 4 to last a while.

      • Thanks.

Same problem here. Login, add to cart, Click and Collect, can't pay. I've logged in with both Bunnings and OP accounts and no difference. Even changing pick up stores didn't make a difference.

      • Does it work if you do delivery? Not many stores have much stock so maybe thats why?

        • Thanks mate. No changing to delivery didn't fix it either. It shows the choice of Visa/Master, PayPal, Apple Pay etc etc, but you can't expand any of them to enter a CC. Tried on mobile and desktop (Mac) too. Odd.

        • I just logged out and checked out as Guest and it worked fine. Weird!

    • Yep same. Tried on both PC and mobile.

      • Worked when I checked out as guest.

  • Would one be sufficient for an oversized litter tray?

It's a scoopfree auto so it's longer and wider than a regular tray.

I'll just get 4 to be safe in all directions Thank you One Pass

    • I have purchased two, as these are only 55 x 75cm - hopefully it works side by side without sliding around…

  • Thanks got 1

    • Just got my order cancelled due to no stock.

The cat peeing on them makes sense. Gotta shake the litter out of these mats regularly. If it reminds them of their litter box, they'll use it as their litter box. Had to throw out the beanbag chairs.

I tried using something like this, but from Target, and my cat just walks around it or jumps over it.

Do you need to surround the litter box with them? (I just had one either in front of the litter box or by the entry to the laundry room that the litter box is in)

I looked at these mats in store at Bunnings. The honeycomb foam is hard with no give. I imagine it's uncomfortable for some cats.

Yep, ideally surround the litter trays with litter trapping mats, so no matter which side Katto steps out, any litter on their feetsies will go in the mat and not throughout your home. Also to catch the litter overflow from an enthusiastic dig. Whatever works - so many cats.. so many individual quirks!

  • Got about 3-4 more available in Cannington (WA) branch.

One of my cats used to miss the litter box and pee on the mat (he used to have a fully enclosed, top entry one, until he grew too tall for it), then he decided it's easier to sit close to the edge of the litter box and pee on the mat instead. They are very hard to clean if it's liquid, and somewhat fun to scratch, do not recommend.

As I said, I have a similar experience but that doesn't mean all cats are the same. I like to think I have the maturity to recognize my experience shouldn't prevent others from trying and benefiting if their cats are not complete crazies like ours.

  • temu cat mat + scoop free unit with hood + abs scoop free tray + trouble trix crystals

  • Thanks OP. Bought 3 with free delivery. Hopefully no more litter tracking all over the carpet!

    • Saves you from having to plow it out!
