I guess what I am wondering is whether TCB's request to Temu is just a formality to show they are doing the right thing, or is there a chance that Temu will respond to TCB's notification, and actually pay it?
Has anyone had a Temu order not track, and then track after contacting TCB to let them know it didn't track?
Doesn't really matter if 100 people have, it may not in your specific case for whatever reason.
Cashback should be seen as an added bonus, that may or may not track, not a basis of purchasing decision.
You are right, but if the majority of people say they had no luck, that gives me an idea of what to expect, and vice versa.
My cashback would only be $40, but having the cashback offer was a definite reason for putting an order together.
To date, all my Topcashback purchases have tracked.

You can complain as you are here and there's a decent chance they'll cover it at this stage for reputation purposes.
But otherwise it's the same as with all other cashback groups - don't buy it if the only reason you're buying is for cashback as none of them are guaranteed whether it's shopback, cashrewards or TCB.
At some point TCB will be large enough to start telling people to stuff it.

Temu's in house affiliate network is notoriously bad for tracking purchases. To the point where it's probably intentional.
For my untracked purchases previously, TCB have investigated and I've been paid in the end. It's important to note that if you used any coupons (they'll auto apply if available), Temu will decline the cashback.

Correct. Some like Temu and Amazon have an in house affiliate tracking, while others use affiliate platforms like Impact. The methods of tracking vary too, i.e. session based, via cookies etc.
Hence why they say to disable adblock, don't go clicking out of the window/tab (session) and why some retailers are worse at tracking than others.
I agree re Temu intentionally avoiding tracking. This seems to happen on CR,SB and TCB. We don.t bother with Temu anymore.
I'm 2/2 with correct tracking on Temu. Haven't hit the point of being paid so will revert back if it's cooked haha.
