Looking for a new laptop for Uni studies. Needs something with no lag and nicer for eyes since will be staring at the screen for longer. No gaming needed. Just normal uni works. No editing.
Planning to use the laptop for study in between work and then connect to a bigger screen at home to use as a desktop.
under $2000 and no lag…. that's a tough one.

No deals at the moment but maybe Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition. usually $1800 when it goes on sale.
On the outlet there are some Thinkpad T14 Gen 4s for $1107.4 and a Yoga Pro 7 for $1,163.85.
The T14 has better build quality, weighs less, and has more ports. but lower end specs, the Yoga Pro 7 is less robust, less ports, weighs more but has nicer display and a better CPU / GPU.
Both equally good options though and can't go wrong with either
