Best Air Fryers / Steamers in 2025?

What are the best air fryers and air fryer/steamers in 2025? I previously purchased a Philips XXXL air fryer about 3 years ago. Its been great, but its starting to fall apart and putting the tray in the dish washer wasn't the smartest idea either.

Instant pot on Amazon is our next go to when the current airfryer dies. Claims 11 in 1 function including steamer

In my experience, the air fryer was a waste of money. The oven does everything much much better.

But we must blindly follow trends! Are you an alchemist or some kind of wizard?

not really. Small air fryers get the food crispier due to more heat and is much quicker to heat up.

I have a Bosch pyrolytic oven so it's not like I'm comparing it against a crappy oven.

Not only quicker to heat up but easier to clean afterwards. I hardly ever touch the main oven anymore.

If it fits in the air fryer, then air fryer it is.

Bought a few of these for friends & fam now. Pretty good.

  • Professional chef Thomas Keller didn’t know what an air fryer is when he took part in a chef questionnaire round table approximately 1 month ago, and Jamie Oliver explains to him that it’s essentially just a trendy new thing for amateur home cooks, skip to 6:01 in the video below:

My mum and brother keep w*nking on about their air fryers, and suggesting I get one. They have served me food cooked in them, and I don’t get the hype. I am perfectly happy with and think the food is much better cooking with options I use, my oven, the stove top using stainless steel pans, my Weber Genesis gas BBQ, and my Kamado Joe charcoal BBQ.

  • Ninja XXL has been getting all the fanfare on the review sites, that might mean something, maybe.

I'm in the market for one too, my last Delonghi one was shite. Haven't figured it out yet.
