Definitely follow the instructions and dilute it, otherwise it’ll probably leave residue on your laundry and washing machine.
It’s perfectly fine to do this, doesn’t leave any residue on the 100+ times I have done it. I believe the reason they do it is 1. Auto dosing machines are made for dilute detergent, and 2. People feel like they are getting more for their money with 2L of dilute detergent compared to 1L of concentrate - so it sells more

Better off buying 4L omo gold for $25 when discounted.
If I recollect correctly it's the powder version of Omo Ultimate that always gets the best reviews when tested, and because that's good doesn't mean the liquid is. I understand some machines need the liquid and also based on people's first hand experiences may find it good.

My comment is that the concentrate is not good value. Compared to the ready to use 4L liquid.

Weird they get you to dilute it with water though. Anyone used this before? Couldn't you just add a third of the usual amount of detergent…?
