I normally use USB drives to give to my less tech orientated friends when I need to transfer large files. Now I'm looking to get more as I've basically given away all my last batch.
Has anyone seen good prices on USB drives online or at major stores? 4-8 gigs would be ideal and ~$5 would be perfect.

If they rip you off on size, why wouldn't they put spyware on them too?

I would just like to share that I got a pair of Aliexpress cheapies in 2023… Came up to around $4 each for 8Gb sticks USB 2.0
I still have them, they're still usable.
And because I also have fears of dodgy devices, I was quite wary of them.
Fortunately, they checked out both in terms of capacity, and in speed. They actually clocked as my fastest 2.0 devices.
why not use a cloud storage service like google drive and share the link with them?
