Has anyone tried getting Officeworks to match items at Bunnings which are available on 'special order' ? It's not anything particularly fancy or custom (Tapo camera) but I am not sure if the special order status would exclude it.

and must not be refurbished or second hand.They have the right to decline, but some branches will take the sale anyway.
Most stores would say no.

Something to note, Bunnings special orders are sold at full RRP, is what I was told by their staff years ago.
I tried in store with a tapo camera that was 'special order' at Bunnings a few weeks ago. No luck in my local store so I tried calling Officeworks, they matched it (minus 5%) over the phone no problem. Then I picked it up from the store that told me they couldn't match.
We got an Officeworks store to price match the Bunnings Tapo camera price. The guy said they don’t normally do it but the amount of money wasn’t high so he did.
