These are good. Got it 1-2 years ago. Pruning made easy.

Keep in mind, tree doctors say to disinfect wipes between using on different plants so you don't pass on infection. Also clean the blades at the end of the day with something like https://www.stihl.com.au/en/ap/superclean-resin-solvent-1064 to stay rust free

Edit: 15 months ago with charger and 2Ah for $207

Whenever I see motorised pruners I think of the mafia….and fingers

honestly if you have a Makita battery the 'official' Makita brushless AliExpress is always on sale from various sellers is a goer for $40-100.

I've had one more for several weeks and it's amazing and much better balanced than the ozito and other Bunnings available pruners

Yeah, they're good value. We've bought several as gifts to family and ours is also still going strong for years now (including the batteries). Last kit we got during a special on eBay - paid $108 for brushless pruner, 2x 18V batteries, charger, and pole extension. e.g. like this model (although this kit doesn't include the batteries, but if you keep an eye out on eBay or Ali you'll find them in similar price bracket in complete kits) https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/317096819389

  • This design is too bulky and makes it hard to use in tight spots. The Kebtek design is much better and you can even get a 2m extension pole with it - significantly increases its usefulness
