psa: if you have received a price increase email - log in to your red energy account. it may literally tell you there's a cheaper rate available - and if you choose to pick it - it'll backdate it to mid/end June!

Hope it is not an error on Red Energy side. It basically moves back to the pre-increased rate…. as it is flexible plan, they can re-adjusted back to whatever they want if it is an error.

you're logging on to the red energy page from their website, NOT clicking on an email link.when the profile loads, it says hey click here to save on a better rate. it did so for gas and elec
anyone has a screenshot of what it looks like? there is nothing on mine. it showed my service and a couple of quick links. i even tried desktop mode without ad blocking
i did it on phone website with adblocker
there was a banner somewhere about a better rate being available
Cheers mate! Both energy and gas had cheaper options available, saving about $500/year.
Mine only backdates until the 11th of July tho, perhaps its tied to your billing cycle?

Mine did not have any reduced rate.
On my bill it does say "Could you save money on another plan? Based on your past usage, our Living Energy Saver plan may cost you up to $230 less per year
than your current plan*. To switch plans, call…."Did you guys do this?
was basically that, but click to swap. not call to swap

Received letter in the mail today with the new rates which are actually same/similar to my old rates before the recent rate hike.
I logged in and there was a much cheaper rate available. selected it. will see what happens!
