Heartland is not a well known brand. But the winemaker Ben Glaetzer is definitely well known. He is the same guy behind Glaetzer Amon Ra. This appears to be his Langhorne Creek based brand…definitely not as well known as his Glaetzer wines brand but that means there's no brand price premium.
Langhorne Creek isn't one of the best known wine regions in Australia but it definitely puts out some great wines. Its a cooler climate area that makes some of the best Cabernet Sauvignon. Being a lesser known area, wines tend to be better value. Bleasdale is probably the best known Langhorne Creek winery.
Being made by Glaetzer makes this a great deal. Its also a winery that isn't owned by a conglomerate that does huge inflated RRPs to make it seem like a better deal.
Thanks OP! Great pricing on great booze. Cheaper than wholesale too!
