Upvote solely for the king who put Series S in the tab, I know it will get removed, but I see you king

    • Probably dumb question - why isn’t the tag XBS/X?

      • +1

Doesn't matter, they always take the S out

    • Removed 😂

  • I've played Res4 on at least 5 different platforms now. Best game of the series.

Played it first on the Wii. I wish motion controls like that were still a thing.

    • No Gamecube?

      • Never had one. 😢

Wii was my first ever console. I was a gen x PC gamer. Came late to the console war.

        • Have you tried VR? Village is out of this world, surely will set the standard. First one I've ever played and I'm invested now, hoping to get remake of 4 eventually and try that in VR (unfortunately the true VR experience is tied to PSVR, I've heard they can be modded but the fidelity is not the same)

          • @tjaye: I really want to try it in VR, but I don't know how much I can stomach it. Tried some kayaking game on the PS VR once and I couldn't take more than 10 minutes of it.

            • @BadGiraffe: Yeah I understand, I get VR sickness too, tried racing once, that was a mistake hahaha
Haven't gotten sick once with Village (multi-hour sessions) using snap-turning rather than smooth-turning, and if you move around slowly and take your time taking in the environment the pace is much easier to stomach.
You'd fall in love with the combat mechanics and user experience if you liked aiming the wii one

    EDIT: Damn it! They aren't.

Haha I went to check that exact thing, only to see the same doom that you had already discovered.

Dang. I wish all Xbox games were playable on PC. I have a Series S, but my desktop has more power.

        • +1

I too have a Series S and powerful PC.

4 got remade. Isnt it better to play the remake rather then original?

    • I would say no. The remake turns a classic arcadey game into a modern yellow paint and swaying aim experience with lots of other boilerplate nonsense that transforms Leon from an over the top special operative to a generic protagonist and a special game into an unsurprising one you can set your watch by. Don't get me wrong—it's still competently made and if you like the current soup du jour you'll probably like it, but it's nothing special and certainly not worth paying such a large premium for and particularly not if you played the RE2 remake as it's just more of that stretched over 4's bones much less artfully.

  • Great games (except for 6!) I went to buy but I already owned. Actually a real big fan of 5, having played them since PS1 RE I really enjoyed it. Even bought a Gamecube just because RE4 was originally an exclusive on that system.

My first console was a 70s Binatone Pong clone… damn I'm old!

  • RE 5 and 6 are the worst in the bunch.

    • +1

you should try re5 in co-op mode. Back when it was released. I had 2 xbox 360 linked up for story mode. Best times.

    • The Mercenaries mode in Resi 6 is worth a go, but agree that the main game ain't much chop.

    • I thought RE5 was great if you have to have someone to play it with, I tried to replay a level solo with an AI partner and it was unbelievably bad.

  • Is ir RE 4 or REmake 4?

    • RE4 original

  • Out of ammo!
