This watch is like the Genesis of Citizen.
What is better than this in grey or black, auto or eco drive, for daily business wear? Similar sense of value/money.
I like it, but can't get over the grey doesn't come with a bracelet, combined with the end link design on the leather.
I won't say it's better, but for daily business wear, the normal tsuyosa line would be my go to. Plenty of dial colour to choose from.

Don't know if this is an unpopular opinion, but Citizen dials are so boring…Even this deal's watch, I get that it's meant to be somewhat exciting, but it just feels kind of lackluster. I don't know, something about Citizen that just seems too pedestrian. Hell, I'll even take some AliExpress watches over Citizens.
Depends on the model, there they've been doing less conservative things the last few years, nothing wrong with the small seconds. If you walk past a watch shop window most watches look boring Just silver one gold.

I don't like the end link on the strap option either but the bracelet is pretty chunky, no real taper, butterfly clasp, and the high polish is a bit bling and attracts finger prints. Still better than the normal tysuosa watches.
I like San Martin original design, like the JIan Zhan SN0144. They also released a square watch recently SN0145 which may not be to everyone's taste, but I like it (haven't seen it in person tho).
That brand is bit too much for a Chinese copycat.
A lot of people rate them but I hate the logo, and other cheaper AliExpress brands will do.
Good to consider resale as well (not that it's ever great but getting 40+% off Seiko always helps.
@G-rig: Apart from the logo, I rate everything else. The quality to price ratio is about double & on par with watches around $1000 (I think),
I don't like their (& other AliExpress) clomages, so only went for their SN0144 (original design).
I don't have it anymore as I just did a clean up on my collection and now only have 6 (to keep) & 3 in the market to sell.
I quite like the dial on this one, specifically the grey because of its understated style (not a big fan of brightly coloured dials).
Only thing stopping me getting this one is the leather strap
