That page says that price was last updated in March? Is that correct?
Thanks
18v, check. Brushless, check. 4Ah battery, check. Kit, check.
The real question is what's the tool in the kit?battery, charger, snipper
Yet when posted it had zero detail. Mod (Alvian) works too hard for these pathetic posts.
Chill, man
That appears to be current RRP for that set (I know Ryobi is only stocked at Bunnings, but same same)
So no bargain
As displayed by the standard Bunnings price ticket in the photo… Not a deal clearly
It's the regular price according to the Ryobi site too
Needs a 2nd report no doubt, I've done my service
"limited time only" on the box is one of way Ryobi does its sales and promos. From my quick look at the Bunnings and Ryobi site, this 28/33cm is only available when they feel like it. Normally its only 25/30cm or 33+ in 18v models available all year round.
No bargain but good value vs the other models available all year round.
what's normal price?
this is the price. Limited time only means its only available when they feel like it and is the way they do promos. If you compare it to other models available all year round, its a decent value
The line trimmer in this kit is a discontinued model, doesn’t even have the quick feed head.
It’s replaced by this one here: https://www.bunnings.com.au/ryobi-18v-one-hp-33-38cm-whisper…I guess they are just bundling it up to clear the stock.
I have the whisper series one (so the newer model). It’s pretty good with the easy wind system.
Wouldn’t know the difference between that and this model.
As long as it works well.. if I were to go again, I’d probably save my money and grab this deal (and it comes with a battery)Just don’t forget to register the tool for the 7 year warranty.
I have this model. It's okay, I do wish I had something slightly more powerful. Looking to upgrade
36v is the way to go then!
I'm a huge fans of Ryobi One 18v… got a stack of skins.
But for blower, lawn mower, and line trimmer, definitely go 36v.
Ive got the 18V ONE+ HP Brushless Whisper 33/38cm Line Trimmer and I love it, but I'm pretty sure it spins backwards to my petrol trimmer so you have to hold it differently or you get covered in crap. Plenty of guts.
