What's the advantage, just out of interest? Same price & I got my most recent Target delivery the next day via Couriers Please, quicker than prime in SA. Also $10 off via newsletter signup or account creation available at Target.
Some folks may have gift card preloaded to their Amazon and may want to spend that first so yeah, each to its own.
The advantage is time, I would have had the game from the 26th-30th of July, now it'll arrive on the 31st, that's if the couriers do their job properly and don't take it to the post office etc.
Am I right in saying that unless you have the Webcam thing it's mostly useless getting the upgrade? The mouse games seem pointless too as you'd need a second set of joycon2s as well right? (For 4 players obviously) AFAIK there's nothing extra for a "base" experience (no mouse/webcam) right?
You can play the new 2v2 mode and frenzy mode option and turn off mouse/motion mini games.
It says "Click and collect only" and has a "find in store" button instead of add to basket for me (This shows as no stock anywhere in Sydney or Canberra which doesn't sound right) If I change the delivery location to Sydney it still gives the same thing?? Has anyone been able to get it delivered? I can add any other game to basket, just not this one,even cleared cookies and logged out again. Looks like they're having the same problems they were having last week with their online system, how hard can it be??

Absolutely unnecessary.
Nintendo could have used their resources better elsewhere.
Assume you can also use the $10 signup voucher on this too?
