July Carry-on Light Expandable Luggage + Ultra Violette SPF Bundle $192.50 Delivered @ Ultra Violette

203
SOPHA30

Before this gets comment bombed with "Does the bundle also come with an SPF rating of 4?" comments - that specific sunscreen is not included in this bundle. I will laugh for your sake. Any SPF is better than no SPF.

Beyond that, this is a pretty good bundle from Ultra Violette, considering that a similar-ish Carry On from July was on sale for the same price at the start of 2024. Has a standout Blue/Pink colourway which I think looks sick and weighs 2.3KG.

Found this SOPHA30 code online - I believe it is an affiliate code with SophaDophaa (For anyone over 30, an Australian Tik Toker) but i'm not directly associated her. Costs $275, valued at $431 for a ~55% discount after coupon code.

If you want to use a non-affiliate code, SKINSAVER20 takes 20% off to make it $220

SPF Bundle (RRP $156) Includes:
· Supreme Screen SPF 50+ 75ML (Facial SPF) ($52 RRP)
· Preen Screen SPF 50+ 75ML (Reapplying SPF Spray Mist) ($42 RRP)
· Extreme Screen SPF 50+ 150ML (Body SPF) ($35 RRP)
· Sheen Screen SPF 50 - Shade: Bejewelled (Lip SPF) ($27 RRP)
· July X UV Stickers (RRP $0)

Can argue the Suitcase is $114.50 when you 1/2 the RRP of the bundle, due to UV having an SPF 50% sale, but value it whichever way you want.

Have confirmed with UV that is is this suitcase from the July website

Shit this is interesting but like why

sometimes brands do collaborations for cross promotion + branding? but either way a deal is deal if it is a deal to you

      • I mean yeah I guess. Does make a very good gift to gift your niece. Polycarbonate shell is definitely better than ABS so there's that, though the 2.3 kg is a bit of a downer

The colour way is so obnoxious that I love it too. Thanks OP, ordered!

Just something to note though, this isn’t really “carry on” size for a lot of low cost airlines.

I don’t get it? Isn’t that the right term? Would you prefer if I said “colour combo”? I’m so lost. I just want you to be happy, chepsk8. How can I make you happy.

Imagine taking that into a business class lounge and the looks brooooooo

Lol SPF4 rated sunscreen. The worst sunscreen on the market.

Now resorting to selling suitcases as they know their business is finished

it’s not included in the set, but go off king ig

Pharrell Williams is now resorting to collabbing with Tiffany & Co, he must know his business is finished.

I just find it incredible that these scam artist influencers got caught and people are still defending them.

But what's even more outrageous is that years from now, their loyal customers may get skin cancer but they (Ultra Violette) don't seem to care and have even doubled down.

    • +1

Yeah I cannot see how something like this is getting upvoted and defended. When a company provides a product that is supposed to protect against the sun and it doesn't they really should have to go into crowd control and apologise not say the tests were wrong.
Edit: Also saying any SPF is better than no SPF is totally false because if you think you have protection you will go out into the sun. It's like advertising a bullet proof vest that only stops air rifles.

      • -1

SPF is only one part of protection for a holistic approach to sun protection - ala Slip Slop Slap Seek Slide

If you believe SPF is the only protection you need to go out in the sun with prolonged exposure then I fear that campaign must've failed you.

Not my area to defend them, you can look at the results on their website or where they have linked on their socials regarding tests, but whether you do and read them is up to you.

    • to be fair, they did live up to their marketing claims: "Lean Screen™ goes light on ingredients …"

  • +9

I never understood why people would pay money in order to advertise brands for free. The product should be discounted or they should be paying you…

This looks like a cheap crappy suitcase to boot. Just a bad deal all round.

    • A work person does this, she thanks the brands for existing/creating the peoduct, to make it look like she was gifted it all - in the hopes of being gifted one day.

  • Is anyone able to say that these are durable

    • +2

Can't comment about this particular one but July as a brand is very good.

NATALIE30 also works to spread the love lol

What’s the point of carry on luggage when it’s over 2kg.

  • +1

after the dragging UV recently got from Choice reguarding their sunscreen, im surprised July isnt arent keeping their distance.

  • You can buy similar products separate for way cheaper. This is over priced and you're advertising for another company.

    • damn you got me there SpeedRunnerLink

  • +1

Social media is full of scam artists who have been successful due to stupid people

  • Lets be honest, Im sure most are buying for the suitcase and couldn't give a toss about the sunscreen!

    • -1

But $192.50 for a carry on suitcase is far from cheap. The only way to get value is to include the sunscreen, and even then it's still not a bargain.

      • -1

The suitcase itself retails for $275, and as the OP mentioned, the last time it was on sale at this price was back in early 2024 direct from July. Sure, you can buy a cheaper suitcase, but it’s not a fair comparison as your not comparing Apples with Apples.
