Yes they even show a kid with a beard in photo 4.

To be fair the compositing of that guy makes him look a bit like a hobbit.

        • Don't be silly, that's just Jack in the Unfriendly Giant's study… you can even see the golden eggs on the table.

  • Seems very reasonably priced …

If you don't need much space maybe.

Personally, I wouldn't consider a desk smaller than 120cm x 70cm, and realistically it's much more comfortable to work on a desk 140cm or longer if you have 2 monitors (and who doesn't want 2 monitors?).

I would also caution against these fake timber desktops that have been processed to have a fake "rustic" look. They look absolutely horrible in real life. Seen near new ones on Facebook marketplace quite a bit. Probably the buyers weren't happy with them.

Desk depth isnt something you typically consider till you find out you dont have enough.

60 IMO is bare minimum if you have a monitor, if laptop only you can get away with smaller

I wouldn't recommend this brand. Don't buy a budget desk, you use it every day. Mine is still having the E12 problem all the time (meaning the motor is not connected for some reason). I have to constantly plug and unplug the power to fix this.

    • My current setup is a wobbly second hand riser on a free op shop desk of the same dimensions. Won't be hard for this to be considered an upgrade

It holds 65KG, just get a bigger board somewhere else such as Ikea

    • That's a great idea!

    • Or a panel from Bunnings, especially when they go on sale.

  • Can I use this as a dining table in my small apartment?

    • depends on what you want to do on that table, says Weight capacity: 65kg

  • any recommendation of dual motor models?

    I need a slouching desk

  • Looking for something like this to repurpose/modify to work as a height adjustable digital piano stand. They all don’t go low enough though, when you factor in the additional height of a digital piano. Ideal height of top of white keys seems to be about 72cm. The height of my Roland FP-30x is 14cm from base to top of white keys. So I need a desk that can go down to 72-14=58cm at an absolute minimum.

Any suggestions? I guess I could cutout the desk top so that the piano sits nested in the table top, bringing it down to height. That kinda makes that table forever only useful for the piano though. Hmm…

    • Where do you put your legs if it's 58cm?

      • Good question, I’m trying to find the dimensions of the official stands they sell. I called a piano shop and apparently if your posture is right, you don’t really put your legs under the piano so it’s a not an issue, unless you are extremely tall.

  • good luck dealing with amazon and price honours

  • If you stand use an anti fatigue matt too ffs!

  • The discount appears to have disappeared?
    See what I did there?

    • I don't see what you did there, but I can't see the 20" coupon checkbox either
