Automatic Coffee Machine Recommendations

Hello All…

I am in market for a coffee machine. Never owned one. This is going to be my first machine.

Looking for complete automatic machine. Initially I was looking for different set up for coffee and grinder but for my needs it might too much of hassle. ( initially I was thinking may be get bambino plus and grinder combo).

Now I am just looking for complete automatic machine for ease of use. Have $1000 budget with slight wiggle room.

Can I get recommendations in this budget. Not in hurry. Can wait for deals.

There were some threads on this topic but they are2-4 years old. Things might have changed.

    You have started up on the right track with the Breville Bambino Plus which is quite capable of making a great coffee. It's not a huge hassle to learn how and it's very rewarding to improve your technique to the point you get a statisfying cuppa time after time.

    By spending more money, you won't be getting a coffee that's hugely better, but you will get convenience features like auto grinder and tamping and having a dual boiler to pull shots and steam milk quickly. The downside is that with greater complexity comes greater potential for something to break.

    You won't go far wrong with any of the Breville range, they have done a great job of providing good results, features and value accoss the entire range and have a good track record for reliability and support.

    Check out what Breville offers, then search through the OzB history for what a good price will look like.

    Good luck with your search, don't be afraid of a manual process, there's plenty of how to videos on YouTube.

      I understand that. But have 2 more souls at home prefer automatic process for easy workflow.
      So, decided to start with automatic machine and then upgrade to real good manual one down the line.

      Like " Bean to Cup" set up. Basically a coffee machine with auto grinding, tamping and brewing. Hope I explained right.

    Look into Delonghi eletta. So simple, my 5 year old kid can make me a coffee using it.

      Saw that. Looks great. Costco have it at good price. But it doesn't have cold brew( other models from main store seems to have it). Is it something I should look for? Can Ignore that…?

    We have a Jura ENA8 machine at home, more than your budget but it’s been a great machine. We use about 7-10 cups per day between 5 people.

    The Breville Oracle is excellent, doing all the grinding, tamping and frothing automatically while allowing manual settings as well
