On one of my accounts, I used the APP20 code and got them for $109.

Just got them off ebay @$122 ($112 using SSPLUS - plus members only, delivered.
    https://ebay.us/m/MO9rDG
Thanks for the post though, only went looking after seeing it.

    • Thanks

    • Was about to pull the trigger on eBay's $112 deal but the seller no returns accepted?

      • +1

Looks to be an "international" model,, meaning grey import without local warranty

      • +2

If they are selling on eBay in Australia, they have no choice but to accept returns for faulty items. The “no returns accepted” things is essentially just referring to no change of mind returns.

        • +1

Only for the first 90 days. Then eBay can't do much anymore. While Amazon has full warranty from Samsung, if the battery crap out after 9 months, you can get it fixed for free.

          • @bobokingdom: Yeah, I should have mentioned that when I tried to purchase the amazon one I got a warning that the seller wont ship to my area - either colour. I too normally like the ease of Amazon returns process, but not much I could do.
I already own a pair, these are a gift for my wife. Shes used mine before and they fit comfortably for us both :-)

  • How do these compare to the original Galaxy Buds

  • +3

I got these free with a phone last year and I found them the least comfortable earphones I've ever worn, to the point where they were actually painful.

They're all plastic, so if the size is good for you, great if they're not… you're screwed.

I took them on a long haul flight and it was a disaster

On the same note, they didn't fit securely for me and constantly fell out.

The Pros and also the FE's, with the rubber tip, were a lot better for me (and maybe anyone with non standard ear holes!).
Reviews on the Amazon advert allude to similar feedback from others.

Same experience, though i have the pro they are equally bad. So far the FE have been amazing and miles ahead in sound quality too at least to my ears.

      Very cheap plastic, poor fit.

Slightest of.movememts and they fall out, tried small and medium tips.

    • I have the pros and they ok for fit on me, the ANC is just "ok".

Sound profile is fine though as it battery and controls.

Not sure if it's the material on the Galaxy buds silicone or plastic, but every time I wear them my skin gets super irritated afterwards. Ear canal gets really itchy, skin flakes off, gets red and wet - like when you injure skin and it's re-forming. Takes about 10 days to recover and sometimes blocks up my ear canal too. Need to get ears rinsed or blockage removed at a clinic.

      • +1

I had the same problem so I got some foam tips from Amazon and problem solved. It's the silicone that Samsung uses with their buds that caused this for me

        • Ohhh, really! I might have to look into this. Been walking around with big Logitech bluetooth headset I use for work calls. Fine for now, but gets too hot in summer.

    • same feeling, so bad. And Im stuck with it

    • I got them with the phone as well and had some issues with fit in my ear, but I found a ‘hack’.

If you flip them upside down and put them in the opposite ear ie Left to right and right to Left, it’s actually a great fit.

I’ve tried it now with multiple ear phones and seems to be a better fit in my ears for some of them.

I have these. Similar in design to the AirPods (which I’ve never used so can’t compare). As “tips” they sit in your ear (rather than inside), which I prefer.

Good noise cancelling BUT no good if you plan on doing any running / cardio. They just don’t sit very well in my ears. Gym / weights are fine since your head is fairly still.

My verdict: get them for home use, weights training. Use a cheap pair for cardio. Don’t get these if you’re looking for an all round earphone for all things - I had my eye on the Galaxy Buds which did the rounds here a few weeks ago (Amazon link). I think they will do a much better job as an all rounder.

Not alot of good reviews for fitting unfortunately

  • Fitting issues and sound become muffled or tiny after some time, so you have to clean it thoroughly. Got it free from Samsung but am not satisfied, but can't complain due to it being free.

  • How do these compare to Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro?

    • +2

I got the Buds 3 Pros for free when I got my S25 Ultra. They ended up in my drawer of shit tech, and I still use my Bud2 Pros for everything. My wife saw me using the Bud3's once and genuinely thought I got them from Temu. They look and feel so cheap.

I won't buy these again. For some reason the buds2 just drops out during phone calls - sounds like you're under water. Did it every phone call at random points. Seems like a software issue byt Samsung not interested and couldn't find any information on the problem online.

  • How is the mic quality on this for calls? I have the Buds live and they are rubbish compared to when i had a pair of airpods.

  • Samsung has shocking warranty support for the buds.

I spent 1 month + and more than 12 hours of my time chasing them up for repair status. No one knows anything as samsung subcontracted their repairs to third party. System not linked.

If you like your sanity, don't bother.

  • +1

    Fit my ears almost perfectly.

For reference, galaxy buds live also fit my ears perfectly.

  • The link shows $208? Am I missing something?

    • Expired, price has gone back up.

      • It's still $129 on Amazon Business.

    • Back to $129 now.
