15% off our entire Pirelli collection

I'll just wait for the 50% off sale coming up…

    • +1

Yeah but that would be November. I’m hanging out for it too, but if you needed a tyre or two now…

      • +1

I'm thinking of getting BF Goodrich tyres from Costco. $210 per wheel and a 150$ shop card

        • Can you please explain this deal?

    • 50% in november? I can small new tyres coming.

      • small new tyres

        All sizes, not just small…

    Any bargains?

What is the company offering 15% off - Tyroola? What is Klaviyo / klclick1.com, some referral platform?

    • +2

      Klaviyo is just marketing software

      • Ah ok, so maybe just a link from an email or something.

The rates fitters charge through Tyroola has zero to do with real life pricing - atleast in my area. Tyroola's quoted costs are near double what they will do if you walk in and ask.

    • Not my experience. I purchased 4 x Kuhmo's during their last 15% off sale and the fitting station couldnt beat it. YMMV.

      • @aussieaussieaussie, No my guy, NOT the tyre prices - the rates that the fitting stations that are listed by Tyroola charge for putting on the tyres you buy from Tyroola (+balancing+disposal etc).

IRL it's generally $20-25, often less in metro areas. Tyroola is nearly always double this, atleast in my area.

I agree the actual tyre prices can be a lot less.

  • pirelli is not the best for all types of road use. I have mine punctured few times over the past year. they are very soft

    • +4

That sucks, but I'd hazard a guess no brand is best for ALL types of road use. Soft compound isn't a bad thing, would have been stated on the specs for the tyres - generally durability or wear rating is illustrative of this.

Multiple punctures in last year? Either unlucky or there's other variables at play e.g tyre pressures too low. A puncture can come from many things, knowing what caused it is key as sometimes its on the tyre itself (blowout hitting a pothole) - but other times it'd have done in any brand e.g road junk/nail.

The numbers say you will not get any for many a year - Pirelli are a quality maker but yeah have their good and better stuff.

  • Got 4 tyres during the last MyCar Black Friday deal. Overall, pretty good value. They're really quiet on the road. However, the grip isn’t great, especially in wet conditions, and they wore out faster than expected.

    • +2

So they were not good at gripping (something I find handy in my tyres) particularly in the wet and also wore out fast. I tell you thats a rare combo as it's usually the crap grippers are rock hard and last for ever……you're a generous marker saying they were 'good value overall'. ;-)

      Got the P7 C2
Top notch grip in the wet

      • I'll concur with the P7 C2 being good in the wet .The stock tyres on mine were surprisingly poor in the wet , lots of fun .
2nd year of 90km/day and I just had them rotated but are wearing very evenly . 90% freeway but I would guestimate about 55K the way they are going .
Road noise was also good .

  • Just wondering is the tyre from Tyroola real cheap? I picked some tyres from their web and tried to ask price from tyre shop but they dont have exact same tyre so cant do any comparison
