Got tired of emptying my Lubluelu SL60D every two days, so I looked into the D3 dock station to help with my laziness. As an eBay Plus member, I applied the coupon code CBTJ20 and got it for $88.99 with free delivery.

I misread this as "labubu" and thought it was some kind of accessory for it.

  • is this a new model? it looks different to the dock I have

from other's post, "This SD85 dust bucket is about to be sold out. We have launched a new dust bucket D3 (B0DQCXJD3B). The D3 dust bucket is compatible with SL60D and SL68 robot vacuum. Welcome to purchase."

  • labubu, Zimomo…

Have 2 of these, One for upstairs vacuum and one for downstairs vacuum.
    So convenient

    • Have 2 of these

Same, both with auto empty dock.

Good stuff but makes the sound of a jet engine taking off. My wife thought it was exploding and asked me to step away the first time it ran.

    • Agreed. My 2 years old son was watching vacuum back the dock station. It suddenly made loud sound and startled him

    • +1

I tell people who come over to visit that it's LOUD and they don't believe me, so I initiate a dust Collection just so they can hear the jet engine haha
      10/10 solid suction

  • Great price. Improved model over last design for docking.

Lublue service - non existent unless eBay plus time frame return

    • Lublue service - non existent unless eBay plus time frame return

My experience has been different. They happily sent me a replacement when my dock malfunctioned. Bought from Temu.

      • They sent me 2 - one DOA - one worked. It was the old dock design though causing the problem

    • Not that docking

    • Lublue service - non existent unless eBay plus time frame return

Same here but Amazon. Got a brand new replacement thanks to Amazon return.

Great little units for such cheap price. Very happy with them.

  • Have one of these - never looked back

    • What do you use as the vacuums bag?

      • +1

One came with it + there's a spare inside the box. Lasts quite a while like 120hrs or something so haven't even swapped out the first one yet.

do they make a 24 karat gold version?

  • -1

I bought both the dock and the SL60D for $129 on Temu.

  • +2

Does this somehow clean all the hair tangled in the brush too?

    • This is why I won't buy a dock. I've bought the larger dust catcher which lasts 4-5 vacuums at which time I need to untangle the roller anyway.

      • -1

        Doesn't compare

        • What doesn't compare? If you're untangling the roller already, it means you already have the vacuum out of its dock and it's easy enough to empty it.

          • @Never pay retail: It takes two minutes to detangle the roller? Verse not having to empty it for a solid 2 months? Saves time either way.

            • -1

@cephh: The self emptying dock doesn't detangle the roller…

              • @Never pay retail: when did i say it did? lmao

                • -1

@cephh: What are you trying to say exactly then? These are the 2 options I see:
                  1. Empty both the roller and dust bin every 4-5 days (12-15 times every 60 days)
                  2. Empty roller every 4-5 days and dustbin every 60 days

With the vacuum already upside down to get the roller out, it takes me about 10 seconds to empty the dust bin. I've the span of 60 days, that saves about 2-2.5 minutes. So I guess technically having the dock does save time. However, given your previous comment implies that 2 minutes is a negligible amount of time, there is essentially no time saved, plus the downside of having to purchase disposable bags.

      • This was my concern also…

  • Does anyone have a go to for Lubluelu robot vacuum consumables (roller brushes, mop cloths, etc)?

    • +1

AliExpress sells all of those individually or in a bundle pack for the SL60D. Also you can get replacement bags for the dock (I have the SD85 2.5L dock), even the older
SD80 2Litre dock bags fit (Just have to trim the cardboard guide a little bit).

These are on Temu, there are 70% cashback offers every month or so (for new users). I got the SL60 vacuum+dock for around $90 all up.

It's so good, now my apartment stays fairly free of dirt and crumbs. It's like magic.
Except for the areas behind clutter, which I already pretend not to notice

    • Amazing! Do you think I can create a new Temu User with same Cashback app our should I make a fresh user account for both?

      • Fresh account is safer. Temu introduced some rules about 1 new user discount per cash back account, which should be in the cash back terms

    • These are on Temu, there are 70% cashback offers every month or so (for new users). I got the SL60 vacuum+dock for around $90 all up.

So cheap, thought mine $210 with empty dock was cheap.

    • Any advice on finding these cashback offers?

      • Just check all the cash back sites regularly. Shopback is at 70% right now

Does the vacuum still take about 37 tries to get itself onto the dock with these? I've watched mine take 10+ minutes trying to get onto the dock before, it's crazy.

    • +2

Mine is good most of the time. I find when it starts doing what you describe, it means the sensors are dirty. Because vacuums generate static, they attract dust/hair that clings to the plastic.

Giving the outside a wipe down with a cloth usually sorts it out for a while. Hopefully this also helps you.

    • I found this happens if one or rarley both the brushes stop over the metal contact for charging.

  • I feel like living in a parallel world. Except for the ebay voucher, I did not understand anything in the post. Lol. Can anyone enlighten me what is the post about?

    • +2

a robot vacuum cleaner. They sell just the robot and then they sell this "dock" where robot comes and empties its own contents in to a larger bag located inside this dock. The dock also serves as a charging station (think like a garage for car) - so when the cleaning is done, the robot comes and "plugs" itself back in to charging. Does this make sense? If not, time to youtube - "how the robot vacuum dock work".

I bought the SL68 recently from Amazon and I'm sure I read somewhere you need a different dustbin for the SL68 to be compatible with the auto-empty dock.

Is that correct for this particular dock?

  • +1

Does this come with a different dustbin for the robot vac? I don't see any ports for charging or dust extraction on my standalone SL68.

    • +1

I don't think so. A work colleague has the SL68 and bought this dock. He then told me he had to buy this dustbin to make it work.

      • +1

I just checked with him and he said he ordered that one but they shipped out a different one so he still doesn't have it working with the D3 dock he bought.
I noticed this dustbin on that website too: https://lubluelu.com/product/robot-vacuum-water-tank-replace… …. so confusing

        • +1

Oh for (profanity) sakes.. why have it in the description when it doesn't support it out of the box??????

      • I couldn't remember, is it the original SL60D dustbin didn't have the charging contacts?

    • I have the same issue. SL68 and this dock is not compatible. No charging contacts on the dustbin!

  • I have an SL68 (non plus version) which it turns out is not compatible. I complained that the second picture in the listing says it should be compatible. Lubluelu say they’re going to sending out a new dustbox with charging contacts on the rear.

Fingers crossed. They seem rather unorganised.

  • After having this for just over a week now, very happy with this purchase. Have this paired up with my SL60D and always returns to home after a clean.

Have set it so it empties after every 2nd clean. Only comment to add is it’s pretty loud when it empties from the suction so if you’re not prepared it will catch you off guard!
