Can't Spend Kogan Credit? Warning to Others

Purchased 2x $150 Kogan Credit vouchers as part of their giveaways (minimum $1500 purchase) - and had planned to use these to purchase a few items, but now that I try to checkout it becomes evident that there is almost 0 way to use these credits as a first member. Any items on Kogan that are tagged with "exclusive discount with first membership" are ineligible to use these credits on, which is basically 99% of items - so why sell this credit in the first place? Seems pretty scammy to me.

Sucked that it took them over 40 business days to deliver the vouchers when it was stated as 20 days, and support has been very unresponsive. Can't get any refunds, and can't purchase what I need to. Aside from charging the purchase back, is there anything I could spend these credits on so I won't have wasted $$?

      Yep! Followed all of the steps there - spent $99 to get $150 off my spend as I had a few things I already knew I wanted to buy.

      I didn't realise that almost every single product on the website is already part of a "promotion" if you are a first member, so these vouchers are rendered useless.

      Definitely should have learnt from my experience with Kogan mobile - they sent a defective modem. Was told they would send a replacement as under warranty, then 30 days later told me that they can't honour the warranty as they no longer support that modem, but refused to refund me. Burnt twice now - never again
