"40% more energy" than what? Just pouring the water on the ground?

    • Post clearly says "Up to 40% more energy efficient thanks to EnergySense® insulated walls and cover"….. So, more efficient than a spa with no insulated walls and cover i suppose. But 40% more efficient seems low in that comparison.

      • Still doesn’t answer the question. 40% more efficient than their last model? Competitors?

Yeah, its not clear. I personally wouldn't trust much of anything a website that has 0 bad reviews on it says, every product being 4.5 or 5 stars is a bit of a red flag.

        • Found in their FAQ:
          Energy Efficiency
          EnergySense® Thermal Covers/Liners:
Retain more heat, reduce running costs, and heat up faster. Some models are up to 40–60% more energy-efficient than standard inflatables.

    Kids bestway 3m x 0.75 pool @ kmart (with pump) $25.
Bath bubble mat with suction cups on bottom (comes with a seperate blower/ heater) $40
Solahart hotwater panels (free on marketplace).
Got to 55C (way too hot), pump uses 19 watts. Bath matt is around 100w with bubbles, 1000 odd watts with heated air bubbles

I am in awe of that setup!

    • Unfortunately pool no longer available at that ~2022 $25 price!

Bought it in February from Kmart for $49 with free Onepass delivery
      Currently $59

tunzafun001 described set up with more details in Catch $54 delivered pool Deal

Without proper Pool Fencing, Regulations have large fines! Great if located beside pool within fence.

      • I got another one at the end of summer for $19 in 2024 (just for the pump). There was 100's left. If anyone in SA wants a pool, you can have my 2 for nothing (got given spare pumps). So can have them as well.

As for the fence. Yeah, I don't even know the regs. No doubt you are right since it's >70cm. We are lucky and have an enclosed fenced off area already. That reg would have to apply to this "spa' as well.

        • Regs depend on State. Local Govt for enforcement.

Posted for Brisbane - no more than 300mm pool height to meet Regs

          Up to $1119 per offence
But finding a drowned kid would be far worse!

Pool Fencing needs to be approved by inspection here.

Not just in a fenced area. My large courtyard with locked doors into courtyard & locked front gate was not approved!
Returned Pool. Have shallower pool to use there that meets Regs.

          Warning is on pool carton.
Similar pool fencing regs in other areas. Best to check.
Drones used in some areas to inspect!

As for this Spa, depends if has secure cover to meet Regs, according to past comments.

If I got this, how many of you would be in for a weekend spa party?

We could take it to Garden State Diner in Spingvale?

    • OzB hack spa fits 8 comfortably. Extra 1m girth…size matters in a spa..

      • Hmmm.. .IDK… It doesn't look as good but it is much bigger, but from past meet ups (and this is a susprising fact), OzBargainers arnen't mostly overweight tubs…

        So its style vs size.

I had this. Great spa but do your homework on maintenance. Needs to have full roof/ rain protection. Water collected on cover, and leaves too. Regular water clean outs which are fiddly. Takes an age to warm up.
